Love this little spot! Good breakfast is almost non-existent in this town and it is so nice to have somewhere to get some good, home cooking! Recommend them all day long!

Drove into town for breakfast and stopped by The Bulldog and was told after 10 minutes they didn’t have any eggs, I stated you don’t any eggs and she replied that is what I said. I replied breakfast was why we came here and eggs was something I expectied and that we would have to go elsewhere to get breakfast. The waitress huffed stomped her foot and walked of. So we went down the street to Southend Country Cooks & Bakes, we where pleasantly greeted by the husband and wife team that operate the resturant and had a fantastic country style 5 star breakfast with Eggs, we will be back again.
