Really good beer and great food. There was enjoyable live music on Saturday evening, tvs with sports games n and really pretty wall murals. Will be back!

The only reason this place gets any stars is because of the beer—which was genuinely good. Unfortunately, everything else was a huge letdown.

The food was some of the worst bar food I’ve ever had. The “hot chicken sandwich” was laughable:
1. Bun
2. Fried, frozen chicken filet
3. Doused with Texas Pete or Frank’s RedHot
4. Jarred chili flakes
5. Basic lettuce, tomato, etc.

It was painfully obvious the chicken came straight out of a freezer bag. Honestly, it felt like something Gordon Ramsay would rip apart on Kitchen Nightmares. Love the unripe green potatoes as well used for the fries.

Service wasn’t any better. No one checked on us, asked how our meal was, or seemed to care at all. The woman who took our order barely spoke five words the entire time.

Great beer doesn’t make up for bad food and worse service. I really wanted to like this place, but it was a massive disappointment.

If you’re looking for a fun and relaxed spot to enjoy Sunday brunch, look no further than South End Brewing Company in Greensboro. I recently visited and was pleasantly surprised by the experience.

The highlight of my visit was definitely the mimosa flights. For just $12, you can sample a variety of delicious mimosas, which is a fantastic deal. If you’re more of a traditionalist, a regular mimosa is only $3, and if you’re in the mood to celebrate, a whole bottle of champagne is just $15—a steal!

The breakfast menu, while somewhat limited, offered good quality food that hit the spot. The service was decent, and I appreciated the self-seating arrangement which added to the laid-back vibe of the place.

Overall, the atmosphere at South End Brewing Company is really nice, making it a perfect spot to unwind with friends or family. Whether you’re there for the drinks or the food, you’re sure to have a great time. Cheers to a great brunch spot!

A very central, cool brewery with a great vibe to go with friends, family and it’s dog-friendly. It has a large indoor area and also a very pleasant outdoor area with shade on sunny days. The menu has a variety of very different beer options and also good food options. We ordered the chicken waffles, tuna tacos and boneless chicken and we didn’t regret it. The food was very tasty, seasoned and in good quantity.
The service was fast and the service was ok, but I didn’t like having to go to the counter to order drinks and food whenever you want, but at least you have the option of opening the bill in one name and marking it down according to what you need. Some items that I think are worth mentioning:
– Mothers who go with their babies should be aware that there are no changing tables in the bathroom (this is the first time I’ve seen this happen).
– Napkins and cutlery are only available in the indoor area: I thought it was really bad having to go inside to get them in the middle of the meal.

I arrived here at 7:35pm on a Tuesday evening with two friends to grab some food following an event across the street. It was trivia night, so it was fairly busy.

Around 7:45pm, I ordered food. I got the half pound garlic parm wings (6) and regular fries ($8). The total was $18. You must order order at the food counter and drinks at the bar.

After ordering, we went outside to sit as the inside was completely full. The music was pretty loud when it was playing.

I received my food at 7:53pm. The wings were perfectly cooked! I loved the crisp it had. However, the dry rub wasn’t enough for me, in my opinion. I like my wing flavors bold and it wasn’t. My fries were lukewarm and mixed consistently in crispiness. It was definitely overpriced.

My friends got sandwiches and they highly enjoyed them. I would return to try a sandwich. They come with fries and seems more affordable.

Awesome atmosphere in a very walkable and cool area of Greensboro. Visiting from out of town and glad we decided to slide through SouthEnd. Offer of indoor and back porch area makes it perfect for enjoying a beautiful day in the city. There’s paid parking lot right behind it too for easy access! Beer is delicious (I had the Prism break and my wife had Pilsner). Love the simple but expansive menu. Better than just an average pub/brewery food menu. Definitely “elevated”

Finally, a quality brewery with some great food as well. The wife and I usually have an early brunch on Sundays and this place opens at 10:30am and was pretty busy when we got there at noon. Massive outdoor seating options with plenty inside for those questionable weather days.
Staff is well versed in what they’re pouring, and have great food pairing suggestions for what’s on the grill a counter down.
Had the fried flounder sandwich, wife had the smoked brisket sandwich. Bread was toasted and buttered, flounder was lightly breaded and crispy, with a wonderful sauce, lettuce, something pickled, and lettuce. Wife’s was smoky, meaty, and tender, with the same toasted, buttered bread. Truffle fries where awesome, with a great aioli sauce.
Great beers, and service topped off a wonderful experience. Will be back soon.

Great food and good atmosphere. You’ll find a beer you’ll like and its up to you from there! We tried the Tuna appetizer and loved it, a real twist on nachos, also, I think their wings are some of the best in town! Two outside decks to choose from so you can social distance like a champ.

Great indoor and outdoor seating areas, dog friendly outside. Limited brunch menu. The potatoes were the best part of brunch. Scrambled eggs cooked to perfection. The avocado toast was messy and not too flavorful…the bread wasn’t very toasted. The ham sandwich was ok. The breakfast bowl was also fine. Nothing spectacular…Order at the inside counter and take your number to your seat. Seems like a better place for beers than brunch. I’d go somewhere else to eat first and enjoy the beers and outdoor space after. Cheers

The place has a great ambiance and decor, especially for outdoor dining. The beers were delicious and the staff were very friendly. We weren’t crazy about the food though. A bit proxy for recipes that could use some refinement and better portion sizes. I would come here to drink some beers on a cool fall evening, but after I eat somewhere else.
