I ordered a caramel white mocha, and it was perfect not too sweet.
When I first arrived I was the only one and it was quiet, within 15 minutes the place quickly filled up and got busy, but not crowded, as there is outside seating too. So you dont have to strip all your ski gear off from getting to warm inside. Seems to be the place to go for the staff too.

Picked up breakfast this morning at Southcable Cafe, which is located right next to the tram in Teton Village. The breakfast was pricy but good. This establishment was definitely a little under staffed as the woman working the front (a two man job) was really earning her money this morning!

This tiny bar/restaurant right under/next to the JHMR tram get 5 stars because: 1) Its way less crowded than the Mangy Moose, 2) It has wine in a can, 3) The view is decent, 4) The pizza was better than expected. Prices were ok too. I guess. It is Jack$on hole mountain re$ort.

Beware the secretive 18% service charge for at the counter take out purchases. No advance disclosure is provided to the customer. The credit card charge screen then provides an “add the tip” option as if no tip is already included. You only notice it if you scrutinize the paper bill that’s handed to you only on request and after you pay.
I asked about the high bill.
Clerk1: It’s the autocrat.
Me: What?
Clerk 1: Autocrat.
Clerk 2: Autocrat.
Me: Huh? Is that English?
Turns out it is auto-grat, or auto-gratuity.
Unethical business practice in my opinion. Imagine adding an undisclosed 18% charge for no table service. Even though I liked the pizza slice, I’m disappointed.

18% auto gratuity for 1 person. Burrito was pre made. It was horrible. Go anywhere els but here. 17.64$ for cold, no steak burrito

I am 46 years old and was not able to buy a beer today because I didn’t have an ID. I have live in Jackson for 15+ years and can’t remember ever having to prove my age in Teton village. The pizza could be good if they made the crust thinner and used far less cheese.

Came here with my husband and two young kids. Coffee and pastries (blueberry Muffin and chocolate croissant) were delicious. My husband and I split the steak burrito which was phenomenal! We ate out back on the patio while the kids played on the playground and watched the cable cars go by. We will be back!

Cheap food for JH but 18% auto gratuity or tip for counter service. Literally handing me a slice of pizza. And it’s hidden and not obvious on the pay screen unless you get a receipt, so you might be inclined to tip more on the screen. There is no opt out. This is shady. There are no signs about mandatory tip. Beware!

Hard to find because they had removed signage but worth it. Decent coffee and food was great. Hate compulsory gratuity but there you have it. Worth the breakfast for sure.
