Great friendly experience.

Food: Ordered the fried chicken eggs benedict, it was delicious and came with hash browns.

Service: Outstanding. It was quiet but my server was super attentive and friendly. He also guessed in his head that I would order that dish – it must be a good one.

Price: Not used to USD so about average for a meal.

Still in Boston!
Decided to go out to try and authentic American diner, and this place was recommended by a local we’d met today.
As soon as you walk in you’re made to feel welcome, a warm, friendly smile from the waiter and a cheery “Sit wherever you want”
Left to settle for a minute, the menus arrived and drink order taken – I appear to be a sucker for the root beer floats! Drinks arrived and order taken… Fresh iced water brought without having to ask, and after a few minutes, the “Texas burger” (for me) and the “Breakfast burger” (for my daughter) arrived, freshly prepared.
The fries were fresh and hot, the burger cooked to order and assembled with plenty of lettuce and fresh tomato.
Got to admit, I couldn’t finish my operation, but was happily supplied with a takeout container to bring my burger back with me.
Great diner with excellent service.

I wanted a fun, unhealthy breakfast to start off my birthday weekend. I saw the Boston Creme Pancakes online and decided to stop in and try some. They were delicious, very fluffy. The chocolate ganash and pastry cream tasted great, though I think a little more pastry cream could’ve made them even better. Service was quick and I left very satisfied. The meal was huge and could definitely be shared.

Early start to our last day began with a walk to South Street Diner. This local joint was a personal fave of mine! The staff was warm and inviting in a very appreciated Boston way. You may enter as a newcomer but you’ll leave feeling like you’re a regular. Enjoyed chorizo hash eggs benedict and coffee, the regular breakfast and also the Boston Cream pancakes….must try! Couldn’t finish the pancakes between the two of us but it was perfectly fluffy pancakes with a layer of cream filling between them and topped with a dark chocolate glaze.

I went to the south street diner one morning to check out a typical eastern coast diner. I was greeted by an incredible atmosphere, the blue and white interior which immediately drew a great vibe coming from the diner. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, which is totally okay in my opinion. When we sat down we ordered some food (chocolate chip pancakes, blueberry pancakes and some chocolate french toast with a side of bacon) as well as some drinks (bottomless coffee and a strawberry milkshake) which immediately were served warm and fresh only a few minutes later.
The french toast was in my opinion one of the best i ever ate, and the drinks were also delicious.
Michele, the server, was a really sweet person and not only her, but all the servers and also the cooks made the whole atmosphere so much nicer and added a really amazing vibe to this already delicious breakfast meal.

Stoked I stopped in, almost slept on it. Breakfast at 6:30pm was fantastic.
Service was great and they had a vibe with the music.
I’m happy I got a parking ticket and decided to stick around longer. . Seriously. Almost slept. Stop in and see for yourself.

Came in from out of town for appointments and stopped in for a late dinner. Got breakfast because it’s quick and easy and I’m normally a very picky eater but I loved home fries and corn beef hash. The waitress was quick and friendly. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

We visited South Street Diner on a Friday night around 1 AM. The burger and fries were really tasty, though I personally found the patty a bit undercooked. Service was quick, and even at that late hour the diner was still quite busy — luckily, we managed to snag a free table. The waitress seemed a bit unmotivated and annoyed, but that might have been due to the late hour. The location has a very vintage, unique vibe, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a solid late-night spot for a burger!

The chefs and servers were excellent. The food was delicious, though I wish they offered turkey and beef options for breakfast. It was quite expensive, but I understand that’s typical in Boston. I’d definitely return.
