The wait staff is on always warm and quick to help.
My mother loves this place also and I’ve found a great small business that I’ll be visiting often!
Portions were normal and all very good in flavor. If you want home cooking this place is it. The presentation was not fancy. It looked just like the way I would make it at home. Eggs cooked as ordered. Bacon was slightly greasy but nicely crisp. Hash browns had a nicely browned crust on them. Coffee was very good not even a slight bitterness
This was not the best breakfast I have had but it was acceptable by all standards. The price point was also good. This is the second cheapest breakfast I have found with the cheapest being only .24 difference. The value is defiantly here. This place might be slightly out of the way but it’s worth trying.
Staff was also very attentive and pleasant. If the lighting gets fixed and the presentation cleaned up it would be great.
Atmosphere: South Shore Coney Island is located on the corner of Vreeland Road & Fort Street in Trenton, MI.
They the typical layout of booths and tables throughout the restaurant and a small counter with seats at the entrance. There were quite a few overhead lights not working properly and accent lights above the tables were off so it made the restaurant very dim inside. I used a photo correction to add light to the pictures.
Noise Level
Very quiet, only noise was conversations. There are no televisions.
Meal
Breakfast Special $3.25 with coffee $1.59.
Total cost $5.13
Wheelchair Access
The restaurant is a step up onto the sidewalk. There are no ramps near the entrance. Handicap parking is non-existent. There is no official handicapped seating
