We had a mixed experience. The food was good and the service was mostly fantastic. The menu has a few things that are no longer offered and our server didn’t know. My wife’s chicken tacos didn’t have anything besides the tortillas and shredded chicken…no sauce, no tomato, no lettuce, no cheese. This might have been miscommunication. The rest of our food was pretty good, the steaks were larger than the menu (my 12 ounce was probably closer to 15) and well prepared. Sides were tasty.

This is for certain THE WORST place my family and I have EVER eaten. The waitresses were nice and the food came reasonably quickly. But it was barely edible – the chicken tacos were thin dry strips of chicken, the beef ones were rancid, the beans had cheese that was mouldy on them, and the rice was a disgusting paste. When we left we were starting to feel sick. My wife got food poisoning that landed her in the emergency room around midnight. DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOUR: DON’T EAT HERE!

My wife and I ended up with food poisoning after ordering sirloin steak here on 12/30/17. Our steaks tasted old and very game like and the green beans were well overcooked. The waitress we had was very nice but we have been sick for days now after eating here. It looks like several people reviewing this restaraunt had food poisoning as well.

I don’t know what’s happened to this restaurant but it ain’t good. After being burned at the Burro, we thought we’d found the ideal place, nice lunch menu and steak price that made it worth going out of the way to eat here. Ate here six or seven times. Never friendly service but, hey.

Ate here for lunch on a Friday and it was just fine. I’d recommend it. We had a burger and the salmon wrap. Home cut fries were very good. Service great. Sat in their really nice, sunny quiet outdoor patio with large fountain. After lunch enjoyed some ice cream from the adjacent shop.

Awesome! My husband and I had the blue cheese steak and the mushroom chicken pasta. Both were outstandingly prepared, I was very impressed. Best pasta I’ve had in a while, perfectly cooked (which is hard to do at this altitude!) Great service, with good prices

I got food poisoning from eating here on July 25th 2017. I was so sick that I began vomiting blood and suffered for days. We were trying to be nice when we told the waitress the food was fine, but it was inedible. I just wish I followed my two year-old in vehemently refusing to put it in my mouth.

Wonderful experience! Stopped here on the way back from Breckinridge for a late dinner!! All four of us had the rib eye steaks—delicious flavors! We enjoyed a delightful local wine, scrumptious bacon wrapped shrimp and Jalepeno poppers, as well. The green beans and mushrooms/onions as sides were so tasty!! Owners/chef Andrew and Nivea are precious!!

Mixed experience. The staff was very nice and the mariachi band was awesome. I ordered the Burro Burrito, a steak burrito smothered in green chili. I don’t even know where to bein. It was seasoned a way I have never had before (I’m not a picky eater and eat everything) it was ok. Then I bite into a piece of pineapple!! I have never in my life had pineapple ina steak burrito. Never heard of anyone putting pineapple in a burrito! I just feel like they should mention that on the menu. It was so weird and not right. I ate a quarter of it and didn’t take home left overs. My husband ordered a medium rare ribeye, he got a well done serloin. At the end of the meal a nice lady asked us if we enjoyed our meal and brought us our receipt. Without us asking she took 15% military discount off because she saw my husbands card was a military bank and thanked him for his service. We appreciated that. So if they could just get it together with the food it would be a good place.

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. We have been coming here once a year for several years. It looked like the menu shifted to Mexican, so I ordered enchiladas. Beef, chicken, and cheese. The beef was like hard little crumbs and the sauce was different from anything I had before. Spanish rice was a congealed mass. Couldn’t eat it. I think this was the last year we’ll be going.
