Been to South Park several times the food is outstanding and the service is pretty good but this last weekend I was somewhat disappointed. The place was full when we arrived but we got a sit pretty quickly and was waited on pretty quick. We ordered drinks and food right away they were out of a lot of beers and pop for starters. After about an hour plus our waitress finally told us the kitchen was slammed so our order was behind about two hours in we got our food my wife order her food with a side of Ranch when it didn’t come with food wife asked for her Ranch waitress said all we are out of regular Ranch we said okay no problem did without but still got charged $2.50 for it. The food was hot and good as usual but would of been nice if our waitress would of told us kitchen was behind by like and hour or two. Also next to us was a large group with little kids they waited so long and drank so much beer the moms had to take the kids home and the dads waited on the takeout boxes to take there food home. I will be back I love the food and the staff just asking if its going to be a two hour waiting on food let people know.

South Park Tavern one of my favorite pizza places around Dayton. The food is tremendous and made with all fresh ingredients. The staff is amazing and they always fun events events going on.

South Park Tavern is probably my favorite restaurant right now. Is it my highest rated? Food, yeah, overall, no. However, this is a PERFECT weeknight pizza and wings joint to enjoy some company and smash some E X C E L L E N T food.
Food: This is the first 1/1 I have ever given. The pizza is genuinely probably the best pizza I have ever had. The selection of creative flavors is large, and the freshness is impeccable. It is abundantly clear the pizzas are made with fine ingredients, and that the wings are made with home-made sauces of the highest quality. The wings are average sized, and pretty meaty with little fat. The pizzas, however, are to die for. I have had the Italian, the Hawaiian, and most recently, the Gyro Pizza. The Gyro pizza is without a doubt the best I have ever had, with the other 2 up there in that same conversation. Also, a good selection of quality craft beers and sodas.
Price: Pricing is fine. The wings are a tad pricy at 9 bucks per 6 wings, but the quality makes that alright. Pizza is also pretty average priced, I believe around 22 bucks for a Large. However, Mondays are the day to go, with pizzas being half priced! I do find the price of beer here a bit high.
Service: Service is probably the worst aspect. The waitstaff is super chill and personable, however, I can just tell that a busy night here would result in bad service. On slow nights, the food can take a while, and so can visits from the waiter, but its okay. Its never bad. It just isnt great.
Facilities: First and foremost, this is a tavern. This is not a fine dining restaurant style establishment. Theres some booths, a patio, and a few tables and a bar. Very informal tavern style restaurant. No problem there. And, for what it is, they keep it very clean!
Satisfied?: Overall, very satisfied with this place. Best pizza I have ever had, and the wings are personally in my top 3 due to the sauce alone. In my opinion, Monday night is the only night to come, but really, I could probably eat here multiple times a week. I STRONGLY suggest everybody eats here.

Forget everything you heard about this place. If you’re sleeping on it then good for us because then more for us hahah. Pizza here is the best I’ve ever had I’m not jk… everything else is really good too. Beware, if it says spicy it can be very very spicy. Staff rocks and owner is super nice. Dana rocks and we loving coming in to see her. Please give this place a shot!

My wife & I stopped in to South Park Tavern this afternoon to have a little lunch before knocking out our the errands we had. It’s the 1st time we’ve both been in this establishment to eat a meal. We were instantly greeted by this cool cat named Weston! He was handling the entire bar & the rest of the restaurant all by himself… and killing it I might add! We started our lunch off with some tasty Loaded Tavern Fries & a bada$$ Root Beer that was straight from the tap. We then crushed the South Park Signature Sub like it was our job! Thanks again Weston, we cannot wait to come back & test out the pizza!

I keep trying to give this place a try but I’m disappointed every time. The only reason I try is bc my vegetarian child loves their menu. They say they’re open til 1am but I can never get food. The kitchen is closed or they’re out of pizza sauce despite being a pizza spot. I give up.

We used to order from here a lot when we lived in the neighborhood and it was always great, but we hadn’t been back in a while since we moved. Ordered the Ultimate Pepperoni tonight and it was absolutely FANTASTIC. Somehow it’s gotten even better. Cheese and pepperoni were perfectly caramelized, and the crust has the perfect about of crispness without being too crunchy. Seasoning on top was great too. Definitely going to order from here on the regular again!
