Delicious food and super friendly staff! The prices are a bit high, but the quality makes it worth every penny. The Chicago beef is almost as good as Portillo’s, and their Chicago dogs are even better! The fries and ranch are fantastic, but I’d pass on the cheese sauce. My wife is from Chicago and misses a good dog and beef that reminds her of home. I was in Lexington and wanted to give this place a shot so I could bring her along if it would check that box for her. Man.. this place was killer and it’s an absolute must for her to tag along with me! Outside of Chicago this would be the best beef and dog I’ve had. You can’t find this kind of food around this area and I’m so glad I went in. Chicago dog was 10/10 everything was perfect. Dipped Italian combo was also a 10/10. Service was quick and efficient. The guy taking orders was kind and attentive, the guys slinging the food were polite, kind, and told everyone to have a good day while doing their job. What an incredible shop. I’ll be back!

Def feels like authentic Chicago and bring your appetite. I split a Philly cheesesteak and their burger special and both were fantastic along with some fries. The cheesesteak is loaded with juicy meat and wayyyy better than any other cheesesteak in town. If I can give one criticism it’s that there’s so much meat that the ratio to cheese is off (wish there was cheese on top as well as just on bottom). Love that the steak was juicy. Most other places I’ve had the steak is dry and I have to add sauce to it. The burger was delicious as well. The sauce and toppings were excellent but only downside is together they overpowered the smaller patties so couldn’t taste the burger at all and was a bit messy. Fries were nice and crispy (nothing too special about them tho) The spot is definitely on the small side and I hope they change locations at some point because this is definitely an amazing restaurant. Took probably 35-40 min to get our food at noon because of how busy they were so expect a wait. I look forward to eating here again and getting the Italian beef but will probably be a while because I try to eat a pretty light and healthy lunch and this food sits kinda heavy.

Better than Portillo’s! We grew up in the Chicagoland area and we know our food, this place is amazing. The food is authentic, delicious, and huge portions. The staff was friendly and attentive. The price-point was very reasonable. We highly recommend it if you miss Chicagoland food and find yourself south of the Mason Dixon line.

Absolute perfection for Chicago fare. Maxwell Polish had ridiculously tasty caramelized onions. Chicago dog ingredients right down to the neon relish. Thick Reuben with all the right stuff. Crispy fries with a great cheese sauce and sliced Italian sausage. 10/10.

Hot and fresh, made to order and the fries are a huge hit out of the park! The ranch style sauce was delicious and different from any I have had before. The cheese and ranch come in a cup a little more than double the size of places like BWW’s. For us the portions were definitely shareable we ended up taking home half of our meals and finish the fries and ranch off in the car on the way. We will absolutely be returning to try the hotdogs and Reuben. Pictured are the Philly cheesesteak and corned beef sandwich. The restaurant can get crowded shoulder to shoulder BUT the line moves quickly. We had about a 20 minute wait estimate given on food and it was spot on. Staff were very friendly.

Unbelievable food!!! My wife and I travel the US eating at different places. This little hole in the wall gem is truly delightful!! The crew is all business but the gentleman who took our order is the real deal! Every customer he greeted with a genuine smile and asked if it’s their first time. When a few of us said yes, he took it upon himself to make us feel like family. Like no one else was in line. And did a phenomenal job ! If he’s an owner or manager….kudos sir!! We will be back to eat in the restaurant . This is a MUST try!!! 10 out of 5 !!!! If you like hotdogs, Italian beef, oreo pudding, ya just gotta try this place. Top 3 restaurants I’ve ever eaten!!! WE WILL BE BACK!!!

I was born and raised in Chicago. A Chicago style beef sandwich with hot giardiniera is one of my favorite things on the planet. So this restaurant had some big shoes to fill.

Went on a recommendation while in town for a hockey tournament. Italian Beef was AMAZING! Guy working were quick with the food and were fun to talk to. Not much seating, and only one TV, but the food was well worth it. Chili dang was huge and the pub fries were delicious.

This is an authentic Vienna Beef Dog/Beef/Polish place. If that’s what you want they are perfect.
I had a Chicago dog that was exactly what I wanted. Perfect bun, Vienna beef dog, all toppings fresh and appropriate for a Chicago dog. Sport peppers and celery salt PERFECT.
I also had an Italian Beef with hot peppers.
Again bread it comes in was perfect. Of course it’s soggy that’s what an Italian beef from Chicago is like. Hot Giardiniera peppers were authentic and tasty.
The beef was great but could be shredded some more and simmered for longer. It is very tasty but a little more time perfecting it would make it more amazing.
Burger looked very good that someone else was eating.
Even though I live about 40 miles away. I will be returning to this little gem in Lexington.
