How did Ririe score this restaurant?! This place is like a Michelin Star restaurant and a small mom and pop restaurant had a baby. The food is top notch and the owners are friendly and relaxed. We stopped in on a whim and I couldn’t be happier we did. The salmon was cooked to perfection…moist in the inside and crispy on the outside. The mashed that comes with it is soooooo creamy. True to the menu’s description, the wings are this unusual mix of sweet and tangy with just the right amount of crispness. The salad was light and fresh. The cheesecake….do It! You will not regret it!

Tonight we came across the most delightful location. While looking for a new restaurant to try while in town we saw southfork restaurant listed. We took a gamble and boy did we score. By definition this isn’t “soul food” but it dang well fed my soul! If there isn’t food like this in heaven I don’t know if I want to be there. It hit the spot, filled my belly, and my heart.
I had the roasted chicken which came with mashed potatoes and roasted carrots and melted rosemary butter. My friend got black chicken linguini and we shared wings. She liked her pasta and we enjoyed the wings. They had a kick but were also sweet.
The cost was a little higher than other surrounding restaurants but it’s quality is top notch and worth. It.
If you are near Ririe, ID do yourself and the wonderful proprietor and chef a favor and make it a point to stop and dine here.

We had a delightful dinner last night – the staff was so kind and accommodating. We had a vegan in our midst and they came up with a delicious option for her. The rest of our party had the burger and the short ribs and each of us loved what we ordered. The prices were very reasonable and we can’t wait to go back again. What a special treat!

What a wonderful place to eat!!! We had the lemon butter/blackened chicken linguine special, meatloaf, the south fork burger, and the french dip. Wow! Everything was amazing!! The burger had so much flavor and was large and had a homemade branded bun, and was delicious!! The au jus and the french dip were so flavorful and not salty and the roll was so yummy!! The meatloaf was very, very good and came with REAL mashed taters!! The linguine was so delicious!!! The chicken had a good flavor, and the lemon was not overpowering and it was just wow!! Everything was good sized portions, the place is nice, and the staff was super friendly! Our waitress kept our drinks full and we really had a pleasant meal!!! Will definitely eat here again!!

I have eaten here twice in the last month, and I have been blown off my feet both times. It’s not a cheap eatery, it’s fine dining. I love seafood, so I am thrilled to have amazing seafood so close to home. The smoked fish plate, salmon, and shrimp pasta are all fabulous!

This is a nice restaurant. The wait was some what long, but definately worth it once we tasted our food. The chef was knowledgable and able to make mine gluten free. My husband said it is the best food he’s tasted in a long time. We plan to go again soon. I got the salmon and ge got roasted chicken.

Friendly service from the second you walk in the door. We have searching for a great burger in Idaho for 9 years and finally found it! We are already planning what we want to try next time.
2nd visit: burger was not the same, still good but nor over the top. Patty was thinner and well done, not sure why you would change a good thing
