First time going here. I was really craving french toast today and wanted to try a different place from my usual place I’ve been going to since moving here. South Cape Diner had some real interesting options for pancakes and french toast. I was having a hard time debating between their crunchy french toast and their stuffed french toast, so I asked if they could basically combine the two options and add strawberries, blueberries, and bananas and they did!! It definitely cost more money to do this but it was TOTALLY WORTH IT! It tasted damn good and was a pretty big portion.
I am very grateful that they basically customized this for me. Big shout out to them and a thank you to them! I will definitely be returning again.

I’ve never in my life had a bad experience with a club sandwich, I came around lunch time mid week and the place was dead. I will say the service was great and prompt, but the food was far less than lack luster.
I ordered a turkey club, fries, and a side of slaw. And a bowl of the daily soup which was beef vegetable.
Never in my life have I had such gruel as this soup. It was like 3 day old roast beef with a bag of frozen mixed veggies thrown in.
The turkey club had almost black lettuce on it. But was edible. However the kicker was the giant hair or cockroach leg I found in my coleslaw halfway through finishing it.
I could not stomach to finish the rest. Never coming back, and I had expected way more.

I’ve never had a bad egg sandwich except for this place. The egg didn’t look healthy and the cheese was ultra processed, I asked for a roll and got a hamburger bun. The egg didn’t even taste like an egg. I’ve never seen scrambled eggs look like this. I would prefer McDonald’s. My table was also dirty. I’ll never eat here again.

We stayed in Cape Coral for a couple days and ate breakfast here both times, breakfast was a big portion and very good. Waitress was very friendly, all & all a great experience. Lots of options to choose from, even the healthy options we were on the road for two weeks & this the only place that had turkey sausage available for breakfast!

South Cape Diner is a gem on Cape Coral Parkway! We had the pleasure of being served by Laura, who was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Felix, the owner, also came by to check in—super nice guy and clearly takes pride in running a top-notch place. The food? Phenomenal. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Even with the diner being busy, the service was quick and on point. Can’t wait to come back!

First time, and I was pleasantly surprised . The restaurant is bright with plenty of seats. We were seated immediately with a menu and a hot cup of coffee. The portions are huge. I ordered the lemon pancakes and eggs. The pancakes are large and fluffy, and the lemon cream on top and inside the second pancake was good. Our other order was the country scramble covered with gravy. Both dishes were good. The menu does have two different prices. One price for cash and the other price for credit. This is not negative. Everyone is doing it, and I appreciate finding out upfront. The only negative is that they should store their paper goods in the back and not on top of the refrigerator in the restaurant.

They were a little busy. Gave our order right around 1pm possibly earlier. Watched other people place their order well after us. They got their food before us. Our waitress was not very attentive and about 1:20 pm looks over at us and didn’t even remember that she had already taken our order. Then apologized for the delay and blamed the kitchen. I think she forgot to put the order in and when she realized it she blamed it on the kitchen.
Normally I would have bought that but seeing all the others getting their food long before us I don’t believe it. This was our second time dinning there and wanting to give it another chance due to similar experience that first time. I ordered a medium burger that was raw in the middle (which leads me to expect a rushed order) and about 12-15 fries, my wife got just a few more. Never returning to this place again.

This was our 2nd visit to this diner. Arrived about 1:00. Yes, it was crowded. Yes it was busy. Received our drinks and placed our order. Half an hour later the waitress asked “if we have been helped.” She went back to ” check” on the order. We did not get to eat the food due to time constraints. I doubt we will give them a 3rd chance.
