Brew Werks is Downtown South Bend’s first family-owned and operated brew pub. We believe in building a stronger community, one brew at a time. One way we do this is through our innovative #Beer4Good donation program. We have 16 taps which rotate frequently with a variety of seasonal and staple brews. Pair those with tasty gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, pastas & flatbread pizzas made from locally sourced ingredients! South Bend Brew Werks – home of the guilt-free beer.

I love coming here. My top favorite is not pictured and it’s the weekly house potato salad they come up with. I got the weekly special, and shared a pretzel and it was so delicious, filling and always fresh.
My favorite drink is the Pink Pony Club although I tried the Vodka Cranberry Lemonade last night and that was delicious.
I love that they have vegetarian options, as my best friend is a vegetarian and it’s a safe place for him to eat food.
Staff is always amazing, I love when it gets packed in there it’s usually filled with lots of laughter.
Bonus- music BINGO!!!! So much fun.

Love coming here when they host Drag events! Not very many places around this area that host and execute such inclusive events anymore which have a relaxed and drama free space. Favorite drink to get is the Pink Pony Club. Waitstaff are more than friendly and accommodating which makes me feel important every time I stop by. So happy to be able to support local businesses like this one!

South Bend Brew Werks was a great stop and exactly what we were hoping for in a local brewery. We ordered a flight of beers along with sandwiches, and everything hit the mark. The beer selection offered a nice variety of styles, making the flight a fun way to sample what they do best. Each pour was fresh, well-balanced, and clearly brewed with care. The sandwiches were equally solid — filling, well-prepared, and a perfect pairing with the beer.
Service was a standout. The staff were very friendly and genuinely helpful, happy to answer questions about the beers and make recommendations without feeling rushed or scripted. It created a relaxed, welcoming experience that made it easy to settle in and enjoy our visit. The atmosphere feels authentically local — not flashy or overproduced — just a comfortable neighborhood brewery where people come to enjoy good beer and good company.
Pricing felt fair for both the beer and the food, which is always appreciated when visiting a new place. Parking was plentiful and easy, making this an especially convenient stop for visitors.

Great lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Dog friendly, we ate outside. Cheerful service team, made from scratch food. We also had the pretzel and chips and salsa for apps. Highly recommended!

We were very impressed with the food and the atmosphere here. The servers were kind and did a great job. All of our food was delicious and felt freshly made. The tap list was a little geared towards the dark side while we were there, but it rotates pretty regularly so that was more of an unfortunate timing issue. Regardless, great beer, location, service, and food!

Great family friendly spot… love the food, from salads to flatbreads and pretzels to soup… its all great. During the week I do a lot of meetings there, and lately on Sundays we take games up and play and enjoy a casual afternoon together. They have a stock of some card games and we bring extras.

Had such a great experience here. Fabulous service, they genuinely value you as a customer and appreciate you stopping in. The porky Flatbread is a taste explosion, highly recommended. The 3 cheese grilled cheese with bacon was also stupendous. Great beers too, I had both of their hazy IPA’s. The hummus was very good too, as a side. My daughter had the pesto cheese pasta and loved it. Also I can’t forget to mention the pub pretzel, incredible! Get it with the honey mustard. Wish I lived closer and could come here every weekend.

Delicious COLD beer complemented the fresh, homemade appetizer pretzel. For dinner we each ordered a different version of the Grilled Cheese – to die for.

I dropped by for a quick lunch and I had a flight of their beers along with a ham sandwich and chili. Everything was great. The beers were solid representations of classic styles, and they were all quite crushable. The sandwich and chili were delicious. The chili had some decent heat to it, but the flavor of the meat, vegetables and chilies came through. The bartender was friendly, and the bar was comfortable. Overall, it made for a nice place to spend some time.
