First time here. I stopped in with a friend for a late lunch around 3:30 on a Wednesday afternoon. I got a couple of tacos which were fine. No complimentary salsa and chips was served which is kind of the norm now. You order at the counter and they bring your food out to you when it’s ready. Overall it was a nice dinning experience and I wish them continued success.

I’ve had tamales from rockford to Chicago. Been to many many Mexican restaurants and this place BY FAR is #1. I have never had tamales better anywhere else. I’ve never even had homemade tamales as good as this place. This is the only Mexican restaurant I will go to anymore!

Best quesadillas I’ve ever tried! Hand made tortillas and meat is just amazing. Very friendly staff. However, the place could use some fixing on the atmosphere and service could definitely improve. But the food is just amazing!

This place is so cute with all the plants. I love it. Also the food is amazing I got a chicken and cactus quesadilla. My boyfriend got a burrito. Not just a normal burrito it was a monster burrito and so good! The price was great for all this food we got. I was very impressed with everything service included. Glad we stopped in.

The food was good but sadly the only problem was the meat in the tacos I ordered. It was unseasoned and more on the bland side. I would give this place 5 stars if it wasn’t for the asada tasting like nothing. I honestly feel this place is good but could be better.

We both got steak burritos – which were giant and absolutely delicious – and my boyfriend also got chicken tacos that were mouthwatering. Genuine authentic Mexican that we haven’t been able to find anywhere except southern California. Small restaurant, but was well kept, lots of plants. We ordered to go. Cash only, but the store next door has an ATM.
