Myself and the CSU East Bay Women’s Volleyball team had a fantastic experience with the Sourdough & Co. staff! We had a large order of 21 sandwiches with a very specific pick up time, and Reminder was so wonderful in accommodating this request! It was absolutely the fuel our team needed to compete a few short hours later.
The food was delicious, and pick up was easy (even accommodating an early arrival from me!) and the store was clean and kept – we will absolutely be ordering from this establishment again in the near future! 🙂

Absolutely amazing experience at Sourdough Restaurant! The food is fresh, flavorful, and full of that perfect homemade touch. Every bite shows the love and care that goes into their recipes—especially the sourdough bread, which is simply the best I’ve ever had.
The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and always smiling, making the whole visit warm and welcoming. You can tell they truly care about their customers.
A big shoutout to the owner as well—very humble, hardworking, and passionate about providing great food and service. You can feel that energy in the entire place.

Great service and delicious sandwiches (we tried the Pastrami with the works), clam chowder and the sourdough bread was toasty and fresh. The owners are very friendly too. A wonderful addition to Hayward.

Went here to try their sandwiches. I got a 6″ ham & turkey with cheese. Their sandwich & bread was good but not worth the price. Only have 4″, 6″ or 8″ sandwiches. They do have Flatbreads, soups & salads. They’re located just past Xfinity bldg on Foothill part of a mix use an apartment complex.

As a visitor from the UK a friend of mine took me for lunch at sourdough on foothill blvd. the sandwiches were amazing, fresh and very tasty and also the staff was very friendly. So for me it was well worth the flight over the pond. I look forward to my next trip

The owner is so kind—I didn’t even realize he was the owner until I started asking questions! The food is absolutely delicious, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is classy and inviting. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing breakfast or lunch. And don’t miss the chili—it’s divine!

Stopped by for an early lunch and tried the smoked brisket and the chicken cholula specials. Both were super amazing! The bread had a satisfying crunchy crust, the sauce on the brisket was luscious, and the cholula had a surprising but delicious amount of spicy heat!

Food is fresh and it’s a solid location, lots of seating, parking etc. Staff is really nice as well! It’s a regular spot for me to get lunch at and I’d highly recommend it both for vegetarian and/or meat diets!!

Ordered the clam chowder bread bowl, and I was surprised at how good it was. The chowder actually had clams, it was creamy and tasty, and the bread was fresh and tasty as well. Later on I had the pastrami sandwich, and that was great as well. It’s nice to know there’s a good local spot for bread bowls and good sourdough.

I got the clam chowder soup in a bread bowl. The bowl was toasted which made everything better! The sourdough is really good and it definitely holds it’s own against any bay area sourdough. They sale there bread and I had to take a baguette home. The co-owner of the franchise was there and was very hospitalible. I’ll definitely have to try a sandwich with their awesome bread.
