Just rediscovered this place and I’m obsessed! Staff is super nice and the place is very clean. I’ve gotten 3 sandwiches off of their menu and have loved each one. The bread is so good and the pickle slice is such a nice touch. Can’t wait to try more stuff off the menu!

I’m not normally a big review person, but this place was awesome. Service was quick and friendly & staff greeted every single person that walked through the door. I got the 6in turkey pastrami and it was delicious! Generous portions (I could barely finish half of my sandwich) and the bread was toasty warm. The best part… when they brought out the sandwich, it looked EXACTLY like the picture online and that never happens. I would come back!

First time at this establishment. Ordered the hot pastrami. Pros: the bread was incredible, absolutely delicious. Cons: as the old advertisement says, “Where’s the beef?”. A very pathetic amount of meat on the sandwich. If I’m paying $14 for a sandwich, I expect a decent amount of meat.

Leaving a review not for myself but for my observation with another customer . Seemed like she was a regular as they address her by her first name and they were very sweet to her, offered her a cookie on the house, and delivered her food directly to her and kindly let her out the door too. The way workers treat not just clients, but also our senior community say a lot about the overall atmosphere and customer service of the place, and I definitely always like supporting a restaurant that treats their guests like this! There was a small hiccup with my order but fixed right away no issue <3

I came into the shop craving clam chowder and was received with staff who ignored us, and provided no attention or service despite being the only customers present. This was on 12/30/25 at around 4:30pm. Instead of service or a sandwich, I left with a sour taste in my mouth and an invitation to never return or recommend to anyone else. I would hope a franchise business would hire people who better represented their business.

“One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.” We visited Sourdough twice during our trip to California. The food was so delicious and mouth-watering. Service was quick and friendly. Excellent customer service.I will definitely recommend this place.
