I’m so happy that I wandered into Sour & Salt, and all I can say is… I can’t believe that I didn’t stop in earlier! No offense to the national chains like Starbucks or Dunkin’, but I had been looking for a locally owned shop to buy some bagels in the morning, and I think that I finally hit the mark!
I got my typical order of one (1) sesame-seed bagel, and one (1) everything bagel, and they were absolutely excellent! I can’t really describe how, but as soon as I bit into them, I could immediately tell that they were freshly and authentically made, and were such a nice contrast to the bagels that I’ve purchased from the aforementioned chain stores.
Furthermore, the staff was so nice and kind, and they seemed genuinely personable and happy that I stopped in. Even though I only got my two (2) bagels, they also had a mouth-watering selection of croissants, muffins, pastries, sweets, etc. on full display in the front. Finally, they had a nice outdoor seating area, which was perfect for a beautiful spring day.
All in all, South & Salt was amazing, I’ll definitely be back in the future, and I’d recommend it to anybody looking for bagels, coffee, or other bakery items!

First time visiting, was nice to have parking right beside the building and not have to negotiate parking on the street. Cute little bakery cafe in a brick strip mall. Few people having a coffee on the patio area. Everything looked so delicious! House made breads, cookies, cakes, and fresh brewed coffee. Will have to come back for lunch, the sandwiches looked so good. Grabbed a bunch of cookies for some client gifts and some lemon bars for me . The staff was so friendly and helpful with all the different options they had freshly made that day. Will surely visit again!

I had heard good things about this bakery, so I was excited to go and I was really craving a piece of cake. I looked at the case and there was cheesecake and then a chocolate mousse cake so I decided to go with that, but there were no prices listed anywhere And so when he rung me up and my slice was in my hands, I was shocked that it was almost $10. I would never in 1 million years go back to this bakery.
Edit- so the owner is telling me I’m not obligated to buy from them and they are out of my budget. That’s arrogant! You don’t know my budget. It wasn’t the best piece of cake I’ve had and honestly no piece of cake that thin is worth almost $10 dollars. You don’t have your prices listed. So on top of overcharging you are rude.

Okay so first I’ll cover the food obviously. I go here every week, and EVERYTIME the food SLAPS. I usually get a drink, sometimes food. The options are so vast that most times it takes like 10 minutes to pick. They have super unique and moist cakes, perfectly crunchy and soft cookies, and so many other options for dessert. As for the savory dishes, they have like everything including sandwiches, bread loafs(often an entire loaf being from $5-$12), bagels, and more, not to mention their delicious drinks, I’ve only tried their matcha and lattes, but as long as you add like at least one flavoring their amazing. The customer service is also amazing. Every time I go there this one employee is there and he is just really kind and he’s super energetic and extrovert, I guess you would say, and the manager or I don’t know if he’s the owner or manager, but he is the nicest person I’ve probably ever met. He also gave us a free cookie, which is really sweet. I think the owner maybe thought I was poor cuz I was waiting to be picked up, and offered me food and socks LMAO, but he is just so nice. Me and my friends talked with him for a good bit since we were doing Taro cards, and mentioned he was a veteran. But every person here that I’ve met was just so gracious and welcoming. Oh and they have outdoor AND indoor seating, WITH A TV AND BATHROOM?! So awesome. I could talk about this place for a lot longer but it’s just so underrated and I think everyone should be going here.

My friend recently told me about this place and wow, it does not disappoint. I’ve gone twice now, once for a ton of pastries and a sourdough loaf. And once for breakfast sandwiches and both experiences were wonderful. While the cafe itself is small, they have an entire room two doors down with indoor seating!

Nice little cafe and space for bagels and coffee. Very helpful and friendly staff. Was able to try a variety of bagels over the last few days and while they are good, some of them are so misshapen it can be difficult to make a sandwich. The roasted garlic cream cheese is fantastic, will definitely go back.

I recently had the pleasure of ordering a coconut cream pie from Sour & Salt Bakery, and I can’t express how grateful I am for their exceptional service! Even though coconut cream pie isn’t on their regular menu, the staff went out of their way to accommodate my special request.
From my very first call, the team was incredibly kind and attentive. They made sure to call me back the same day, which really impressed me and made the process so smooth. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was blown away by how beautiful all the baked goods looked.

I want to highlight the fact that they were very accommodating to my dietary needs! I told them I couldn’t have gluten or dairy and they worked with me! I got an iced matcha latte with oat milk, it was delicious. I highly recommend coming here!

This is a very good bakery/eatery. We had lunch and got a lot of tasty treats to bring home. The setup is a bit strange because you order in one building and then walk to the dining hall in another building, but it was toasty warm and very nice.
