Visiting Missoula on a cold day and my daughter and I wanted a light lunch. Stopped into this unexpected “Soup Farm.” I had the Chile Verde served with a side of bread or Fritos. Fritos of course! My daughter had the Italian Sandwich which was also delicious. Portions were good. Food was delicious. Service was friendly. We will eat here again next time we visit.

I used to really like this place, but the quality has gone down significantly. I ordered $50 worth of food today and was extremely disappointed. I ordered a large soup and it was about 80% broth with some veggies and chicken scraps at the bottom. I bought a roast beef sandwich and there was a tiny layer of roast beef, about 1/8 inch of meat. I basically paid $12 for bread with a couple thin slices of meat. I was really disappointed.

We love the SoupFarm. It’s one of our favorite places to go for lunch. We try to go there weekly. They rotate their soup menu, but offer both vegan and meat based soups at any time. They also offer salads and great sandwiches for all types of food diets. They offer a bakery item next to the checkout counter.

There are so many good soups, what we order depends on our moods. The purées are fantastic, as are the soups loaded with veggies. They offer at least two kinds of chili that I’ve tried, too – a kidney bean red chili and a pinto bean white chili. Both are great. Their chicken noodle soup is my kiddo’s favorite, and their Friday clam chowder is loaded with clams. Their tomato soup is full of flavor, and their lentil soup is hearty with the perfect mix of veggies. Their miso mushroom barley soup is also highly recommended. There are many great options. Sooo good.

I can only speak to the take and bake menu, but it’s incredible. We load up on their offerings about once or twice a month. Never had a bad dish and their staples are all delicious. I’ve paid twice as much at local restaurants for some of their offerings that were bland in comparison to Soup Farms version.

Best of all, the take and bakes are always consistent in their flavor and preparation.

The people working here were super friendly. Food is awesome, I just hit a quick soup, but always love a sando and take and bake menu. Worth the stop if you’re cruising through Montana and want to eat some fairly priced healthy food.

I tried the potato soup, Thai salad and frito pie. They all had really good flavor and the staff was bubbly, friendly and very helpful. I wish the portions were bigger for the price but the flavor makes up for that possibly.

Soup Farm was much better than we anticipated after reading some of the poor reviews I was skeptical but loved the look of the place from the outside so we decided to go for it. The soup was very tasty and felt nourishing and healthy to eat (we got the tomato and fennel). I also loved the soup sized and prices, including the fact that you could get all the way up 32 oz. of soup so if you’re looking to feed a few people with a healthy meal for a decent price it is a good method to do so. The sandwich I got was the Jerk Marinated Sando. Being called “marinated” the meat was a little bit dry, but I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that it had been there for a little bit and it can be hard to work with marinated meat in a small restaurant environment. Otherwise, the flavors and mouth feel of the sandwich as a whole were fantastic. All the items on the sandwich tasted fresh and paired well together, and the bread was very nice. Other than the food, the inside of the restaurant was very clean and nicely laid out. My only problem was that the drink options were lacking accessibility, meaning that there were few options and a little pricey. I love that they had local kombucha but just wish they had more options whether it being their own type of fountain lemonade, iced tea, or a soda fountain of sorts, though I understand that while they customer volume currently seems less than what would make a fountain drink system worth it. Otherwise, their menu seemed fresh and innovative while still being very simple to follow so I praise them for that. I would recommend Soup Farm for anybody looking for a good quick bite to try before they get too busy, because they will get busier as more people discover how pleasant of an experience they can bring.

Amazing food–we were tired and hungry! As vegetarians in Montana, it was a little difficult finding food, but the soups available were perfect and comforting. The owner was wonderful and helpful as we were “winging” this part of our trip to Montana. Thanks!

The butternut squash and apple bisque is amazing! So creamy and that apple tartness is wonderful. Also the added toasted nuts on top I loved. It’s a must try. Fall in your mouth ❤️
