I had been looking for a soup restaurant and found this place. Not much of a variety to choose from but from what they had I must say that their soups are very delicious. The sandwich was also very good. Customer service was top notch and they let you sample the soups first. The place was very clean with a relaxing atmosphere.

Souper Jenny’s is a weekly staple in our house. They have a variety of options for people who have dietary restrictions/needs. The service is always cheery and efficient. Souper Jenny’s also sells a variety of local pastries/breads. While it’s not cheap, I’d rather pay for something that is fresh and tasty over fast food.

Stopped on a whim for a midweek lunch and omg I wished we lived closer, this would be a regular stop for us. The folks were lovely, awesome atmosphere and decor, and the food was fantastic! We had the turkey chili and Thai dumpling soup as well as a chickpea wrap, hot honey Italian sandwich, and a cheddar herb scone (wish I had a dozen!) Definitely got this place up if you’re nearby!

TBH this is my least favorite Souper Jenny’s. My gym is here and sometimes I need to eat before my workout so I pop in for something light. I wanted to write a review about a year ago when the older short white lady called me “Gal” which I was highly offended by. She is always rude to me and impatient if I’m undecided of what soup I want. The Mexican lady never smiles unless your of pale color skin. She greets you before you get to the counter. It’s sad. Yesterday I got a small salad. It came with a cilantro dressing but I wanted something creamy with it. That creamy Caesar dressing she got from the back must of been outdated, because it had me on the toilet all night and ruined my whole Sunday because I had stomach pains all day. I will forever visit Buckhead and Brookhaven because the staff is so nice. The only staff member in Decatur that’s nice is the younger ginger head guy. He is always nice and I’m thankful for his service. I will not be back to this location. Which is unfortunate. I’m a huge fan of soup and even. Purchased the cook book for my Mom for Mothers Day.

I was having a no good, horrible day on Friday. I left the house without my wallet or umbrella. I got soaked in the rain. I just wanted some hot soup to warm up. I popped into this Souper Jenny but their pay by phone sensor wouldn’t process Mastercard. I was about to burst into tears, when she gave me the chicken noodle soup and told me to come back and pay later. I was beyond grateful. THE BEST CHICKEN SOUP I’VE EVER EATEN. It was pure homemade goodness. I returned on Saturday to pay my bill and leave a nice tip. Thanks for turning my frown upside down!

Souper disappointed with the customer service I received today. I’ve been going to Souper Jenny once a week for the past 4 months and paying for the overpriced soups and salads because I like their food. Today, I only wanted a bowl of lobster crab soup but the lady refused to sell me a bowl and would only sell me the soup if I bought the $20 quart. I informed her that I didn’t want a quart and she said to me “well I’m sorry “. I was there at 3:10pm (they close at 4pm) and they were already cleaning up and packing the soups in quart size containers. Again, I love their soup but I’m big on customer service first and how I’m treated! I will no longer be spending my money at Souper Jenny!

Nice menu selections. Great place to eat lunch with friends. Closes early so check times before going. Very nice place for health conscious individuals. Prices are reasonable and portions are decent. The restrooms are clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Try it!
