We just moved to Michigan from California And this has become my favorite takeout restaurant! The chicken pot pie soup is absolutely delicious and if you buy a large one, it will satisfy two meals by putting the leftovers in the refrigerator overnight. True comfort, food, and no preservatives make it even better! You can’t go wrong with takeout from the Souper Cafe in Bay City! Their smoothies are delicious also! Woah ! First impressions::: this place actually serves food they would eat
The food was carefully made as in it wasn’t all messy, the broccoli was blended in the soup, the layers of the wrap were perfectly created it was very noticable.
Atmosphere is great, large seating area.
Clean, not dusty, no trash and guck on tables.
Staff was helpful and friendly.
This is a place we will definitely be coming back too. Tons of sandwich options and a whole soup table filled with different flavors
**Update. I went into this location at with 40 mins until close. All employees were rude. And not helpful. Maybe get employees that want to close. There was still a lot of time for customer service

The egg salad sandwich was excellent. The broccoli cheddar soup was not as good as it used to be years ago. Very watered down with unidentifiable objects in it.

The only reason they are getting a one start is because you cannot leave 0 stars I got their, cheddar broccoli soup. And it was nothing but water, not one piece of broccoli, and it was so runny. You couldn’t even pick it up with a spoon. You had to drink it. They didn’t even offer to make it right? Terrible, I recommend you don’t eat here. I know I will never eat here again!!!

This place use to be awesome!! I recently had lunch here and the food quality has really faded. I use to enjoy the chicken ranch wrap. This time, it was nothing but lettuce and little to no chicken filling. Yet, FULLY PRICED. I asked to taste a small sample of one of the soup, to see if thats what I wanted. I was told they dont give samples, but if I didnt like what I ordered they would switch it for another. So, apparently they would rather waste a whole order rather than to give a small sample, so that dont happen.
It wasnt busy other than 2 tables seated. The dining room was filthy. Tables needed to be wiped down and cleaned.
We use to enjoy eating here but the drastic changes has us questioning if we’ll return.

I will not step back into this place again. It used to be a wonderful place to eat and have excellent service. But as of the past few months it feels like it’s gone downhill tremendously. I usually come in a few times a week for lunch but today I came in and the place was not very clean as well as the wait for food being 30 minutes is ridiculous. I understand that it can become busy but that’s not the first time this has happened. The restaurant was dirty especially under the tables and the trash was overflowing today…The man at the cash register had given me excellent service that was all that was good with my experience today.

Perfect for Quick service! Love the Pepper and Tomato sandwich which I usually pair with the lobster bisque. The chicken noodle has the kind of noodles I love, the almost homemade egg noodle kind, yummy. Did not like the Caesar Wrap as it was super shredded, it was more like tuna. They also gave me a side of ranch with it which was weird. Should have been extra Caesar dressing if anything. As for the atmosphere it’s a super basic set up. The colors used throughout the dining room are not appealing and the logo looks so 90s. Food is pretty good. Staff is friendly.
