Soupa Cafe is a fantastic spot for a quick, affordable lunch or brunch in downtown Victoria. I tried the wild mushrooms coco soup and it was absolutely delicious- rich, flavourful and comforting. They offer other 12 different soups including great vegan options so there is something for everyone. They also serve salads and sandwiches (haven’t tried them yet) but for soups alone this place is worth the visit. Convenient location, tasty food, nice people great value- highly recommended!

I usually order from here via Skip the dishes but today I was close by, to why not stop in. I found myself in the arcade where it was located. It was a cute spot. Away from the heat which was a plus. I was met with kind service and light conversation. I ordered my favourite creamy mushroom soup, another tasty option is the chicken stew or the African peanut. Just saying. I’ll definitely eat here again, I want to try items I’ve yet to taste.

I had such a great experience at Soupa Cafe in Victoria! The mushroom soup was absolutely delicious. You can really taste the quality and care in their food.

The manager provided wonderful service and made us feel very welcome. On top of that, the shop was so clean, bright, and such a nice place to relax and enjoy a warm meal.

Highly recommend if you are in Victoria!

Uber eats driver picked up the wrong order- I wasnt upset, I figured I just get a mystery box lunch from my favorite place. Manager called me and offered me a free replacement meal, but I never followed up on it because honestly I was very happy with my surprise lunch. Ordered again another day, and they surprise me by throwing in my original order free of charge. My entire office staff is happily eating soup now , and my entire office smells amazingly of broccoli and ginger. 10/10, you can’t get a better representation of good local food and good customer care.

I ordered delivery from here when I was sick, got the yam African peanut soup and OH MY GOOD LORD. First of all it was packaged well and came piping hot still despite the travel. Secondly their whole menu has interesting flavors that you don’t always consider to make at home. That soup fed my soul more than anything. It was a flavourful combination of kale, yam, and peanut that I didn’t know I was missing in life. I will definitely be coming back, this place is awesome.

We won a gift certificate and had never been here. We went in on a wet, cold day and had a bowl of chili and a bowl of chicken stew soup. They were both delicious, you can tell they were homemade. Very pleasant staff. A bit pricey but I think it’s like that everywhere now. $13 for a bowl of soup/stew. We were very pleased overall.

Thankyou so much Soupa Cafe. You provided the most lovely service to me with a very patient gentleman who answered all my questions (I had a lot!!)
And the mushroom soup !!! Wow it was amazing and probably the only restaurant in town who uses olive oil to make their mushroom soup. And it GLUTEN FREE!!! So all my friends out there who are trying to ditch seed oils and PUFAs / try this place out!!
Thankyou so much Soupa Cafe. I’ll look no further next time I crave you.
You are lovely

I can’t say enough AMAZING things about this place! I ordered through skip, had never heard of them and took a chance! I’m so happy I did! One of my new favourite places to add to my list! I order a lot of skip for my picky eater mom in long-term care and she LOVED everything from turkey, brie + spinach sandwich on rye to the coconut chicken soup and even the Cobb Salad! A great way to get her to eat her veggies!

Thank you Soupa team and for double checking the receipt to make sure I had everything for my order! You will definitely hear from me again very soon! Through skip and hopefully in person sometime in the near future.

Love the real turkey in the sandwich and Cobb salad! Best bacon I have ever had!
I’m going to tell everyone to go here!

UPDATE: Good post-review services. While the soup was not good, they were kind enough to issue me a refund. Thank you!

Very very poor quality soup and extremely overpriced. Just purchased a small soup 12oz of mushroom soup for $10.00. Lumpy and overly salty – did not taste good at all. I threw most of it out. Waste of money and left hungry

Rather a good surprise to have tasted a soup from this establishment!
After getting a tooth pulled, I needed an easy meal to eat that’s why I decided to go taste this.
I took the african peanut soup, I really liked this exotic taste with sweet potato and peanut butter, the vegetable pieces were quite generous.
I took a bowl because the cup seemed really small to me. For a light meal like mine it was okay but for a good eater or a big hunger I find it too small! The bowl is served with toppings of your choice (cream, coriander, cheese, green onions…), I took everything as well as 2 slices of bread (or rice) and butter. The lentil soup tells me to try next time…
This soupa cafe is located in the indoor shopping area, there are a few tables but the atmosphere is basic.
