Went to Soup Shack with some friends because I was craving ramen and this place did not disappoint. Everything was so flavorful, fresh and comforting. Such a good spot for a cozy filling meal.

STEAMED CHICKEN GYOZA
Soft tender and packed with a juicy chicken filling. The wrapper had the perfect bite and dipping it in the ginger sauce made it even better. A great starter.

FRIED PORK GYOZA
Crispy outside juicy inside and so flavorful. The pork filling was seasoned well and the crunch made each bite so satisfying. These were gone instantly.

DAC BIET
A rich beef broth loaded with rare steak brisket tripe tendon and meatballs. So much flavor and such a generous portion. Comforting, savory and the kind of bowl that warms you instantly.

MI WONTON
Light clean and comforting. The wontons were stuffed generously and the broth was flavorful without feeling heavy. A great balance to the richer bowls we ordered.

SPICY MISO BEEF STEW
This was incredible. Spicy miso broth with tender slow cooked beef and all the toppings. The spice level actually enhanced the flavor instead of overpowering it. Deep savory and so satisfying.

TAN TAN MEN
One of my favorites. Spicy creamy broth with ground pork bok choy and bean sprouts layered over chewy noodles. Rich bold and full of flavor in every bite.

We also added marinated soft boiled eggs to our ramen and they were perfect. Soft jammy and full of flavor. Highly recommend adding one to any bowl.

Overall Soup Shack really hit my craving. Everything tasted fresh portions were generous and the spicy bowls had so much depth. Loved this visit and will definitely be back.

Food was acceptable and the servers were accommodating to allergies especially since all chicken dishes are marinated with shellfish.
While the service was quick and prices were fair, the restaurant fell short when of one of us left a personal item and since we were visiting Boston were unable to return. Though it makes sense that a restaurant cannot mail back lost items, this restaurant committed to do it but never communicated to coordinate and get us that item back despite that commitment.
This was very disappointing for the experience even though the food was savory.

This was my first time going to Soup Shack and I was very impressed. It’s a small place, but the server was very kind and food came out pretty fast. The spicy miso beef ramen was delicious with the perfect amount of spice. Overall, I think I will definitely visit again

It’s a cute restaurant. They have tall tables facing the window. Would be great to sit there and eat while watching the rain.

We got kao soi and pho with chicken broth. Both were delicious. We added shredded chicken and it came with a good amount.

This is my girlfriend and I’s favorite go-to date spot when we want something cozy, familiar and relaxed. The staff know our go-to orders at this point and have the food prepared more quickly then pretty much any other restaurant I ever go to. It’s all delicious and you really can’t go wrong with any choice from the menu. The price is extremely reasonable, the atmosphere is great, and there’s even outdoor seating available in the warm months. The food also holds up just as well for delivery/takeout as it does for dining in. If there is anything at all I would change, I’d ask them to bring back the crispy pork belly, since I’d always add that onto my ramen order! Otherwise, I wouldn’t change a thing, and would highly recommend this cozy local staple.

If you’re hungry and not sure where to go near Coolidge Corner, Soup Shack is the spot. They’ve got everything from steaming ramen and rich pho to hearty rice bowls. If soup’s not your thing, the chicken katsu curry rice bowl is a must-try.

Service is always friendly, portions are generous, and prices are reasonable. Plus, they’ve got a Cambridge location too.

I went there a lot but this time I’m really disappointed. I ordered a spicy cha-su rice bowl, in total 10 pieces of meat, 7 of them are pure fat.

This cozy little spot is perfect for a quick bite. We opted for takeout due to limited seating. The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The broth was flavorful, and the overall experience was great.

Came for dinner with my family on a weekday night and it wasn’t too busy. The appetizers were amazing, particularly the Takoyaki and the Charsiu baos. Wasn’t a huge fan of the fried oyster. The ramen selection was great, and so was the Tom yum noodle soup, although the Saigon udon was a bit disappointing. Overall, they have a big selection so would recommend stopping by and trying a few!
