Oh boy, where do I even start with this place? One star feels generous after the food fiasco I encountered! I mean, who messes up bacon? The potatoes were like something from a horror movie, and my husband’s salmon hash? Let’s just say, if the salmon was playing hide and seek, it won. And can we talk about the bread? It was like a relic from ancient times – smelled and tasted like it too! The coffee was no better, like they brewed it with water from a shoe. ☕ The only thing that didn’t disappoint was the view, which was just okay. But seriously, don’t even think about stepping into this joint unless you want to burn a hole in your wallet. And as for the service, well, if you’re a fan of waiting around forever, this is your spot! Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this culinary catastrophe. ‍♀️

The service was good, and I took some food recommendations from the cashier. I really like the clam shoulder and the view platter. I ordered a mocha, but it wasn’t what I expected. It tasted more like a regular cup of coffee. The restaurant has a good view of the waterfront, and if you are lucky, you can get a table beside the window. Sometimes, it gets very crowded, so plan ahead if you want to get a good table.

We love this restaurant‘a location with views! Sitting by the window with famous clam chowder in bread bowl, topped with house Angus burger and beer! All dishes were delicious, the chowder with sourdough bread was very filling that you wouldn’t have room for anything – best to share if that’s an option. Warning – seating is tricky- self service/first come first served and there is always so many people waiting to grab a table. Plan to be patient if you really want the table by the windows.

Love this place, order first and then get a table, as they say trust the process!

Basically a New York diner with a relatively short list menu, serving breakfast all day with a gorgeous view of Elliott Bay. The cafe is easily missed if you’re not looking for it, because it’s not visible from the main cobblestone drive. Although it’s located in close proximity to the famous fish throwing seafood market, you have to go in a little towards the “Sound”, pass several gift vendors to find the entrance on the right. Considering Bidenflation, menu prices are still relatively affordable in the very expensive Emerald City and Pike Place Market tourist stop. Beware that Seattle has one of the highest, if not the highest sales tax rate in . Credit card & cash accepted. Every table inside has a picturesque Puget Sound view. Unfortunately, there was a thick haze obstructing the waterview due to the current wild fire smoke. The food was very good. Nothing was salty, greasy or overly saucy. Clam chowder in the sourdough bread bowl was tasty but not salty. Ravioli with mushrooms was flavorful and a generous portion. Buttermilk pancakes were fluffy & spongy just the way I like ’em. Loco moko was flavorful & filling. View platter was perfectly prepared. Everything tasted delicious, generous portions, friendly & prompt service, good selection for a modest size menu. Only minor complaint was that the coffee was subpar, especially for Seattle. Highly recommended to tourists & locals alike. Support your local small businesses & restaurants

Came for the view and to sit down a bit after walking around the market. Had the beef bowl, which was kinda like a poor man’s version of beef and broccoli that I make, and when I say that, I mean it’s ground beef not sliced. For the price, I was expecting more meat. It was good but a little disappointing at $18. We also had eggs and bacon, but its breakfast can’t go wrong with that. The views are nice tables are first come first serve. There is a sitting area just outside the restaurant that belings more yo the market than to the restaurant, and the restaurant is located right in the market itself in a corner of it.

We stopped for hot chocolate and lunch. They were still getting lunch set up, se we grabbed hot chocolate while we waited. We got it to go, and set just outside of the cafe in an open public seating area. You could see the Ferris wheel and overlook the Pier.

We ate a bit early for lunch (11am) and the line moved fast. The cashier was friendly and quick. The food was excellent (we had a burger, Soup, and kids Mac and cheese.) The restaurant asks that you to not hold a seat and to trust that a seat will open by the time you’ve ordered. They politely enforce this rule. One such customer ignored this rule and the staff nicely asked that they get in line to order like everyone else following directions. As a rule follower and a fan of social justice I was pleased at how they handled it. I would go back here. The view was good and it was not too loud, clean, and super tasty food. 5 stars.

A lot of hustle and bustle, but my wife and I got sat quickly and were served within 10 minutes of sitting down. We both ordered a breakfast croissant with turkey sausage. I ordered a mocha, and my wife ordered the chai latai with oak milk.

Friendly service. Food is okay. I wanted the breakfast meal that comes with the French toast but that unfortunately wasn’t unavailable. So I ordered the salmon hash. My son ordered the Sound View platter and received an incorrect order of his eggs but that was quickly taken care of by staff. Beautiful view out the window by the water.
