I had a great experience trying his soul food joint. No frills establishment and takes about 20 min to cook but my catfish and wings were fried to perfection and fresh. Fries we also fried perfectly. IMO the fish, wings, mac n cheese all had soul seasonings. The owner was friendly. Prices are reasonable so you should try it out and support a black owned business if you are craving some fast food style soul food.

Nothing fancy with regards to atmosphere but the food makes up for it.
Catfish was excellent as well as the potato salad, collard greens, and mac & cheese. All were excellent. Went there Friday night amd it was so good we decided to come back on Saturday. The cook was great and friendly.

Really enjoyed my meal here. The food was exceptional. I had the fried fish platter with onion rings which was outstanding. Fried to perfection. My daughter had the steak and cheese with fries which was very flavorful. My mom had the fried fish platter with onion rings and greens; Dad had the catfish sandwich with fries. Will be coming back soon!!

If you are nearby this place, I think it is definitely worth a try, especially considering that you don’t really find much Soul style food in this kind of area.
The food was really good, I highly recommend the Po Boy. The shrimp was fantastically crunchy, the Special Sauce excellent, and the fries were made how fries should be made, crispy exterior with plenty of potato interior. My only qualm is that both items could have used some seasoning, in addition to the sauces it had.
It is run by this nice black lady, I think it’s only her. Despite only being herself, she works very effectively. The atmosphere leave something to be desired, it gives a sense of small business (which it is), but half of the building almost looks abandoned, the lights turned off but the posters and signs still there, it’s a bit odd.
Overall a good place, and I would probably visit again at some point.

I don’t know if she’s the owner or not, but she’s easily one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. I really enjoy the fried fish she sells, but every time I have to pick up my order, I dread walking inside. I’ve even resorted to ordering through Grubhub just to keep the interaction as minimal as possible, yet somehow it still turns into a back-and-forth with her. Over the phone, it’s an issue with how I read my card number; in person, it’s suddenly a problem with Grubhub’s system—something I obviously can’t control. The fish might be good, but the attitude is terrible.

The Honey Bun cake is a must! The fish was fresh and delicious and the Cook is very cool and down to earth. Highly recommend if in the area. You won’t be disappointed!

I visited Soul’s Grill today to get some food, but the owner was extremely rude. There were no other available parking spots, so I tried to park in front of the restaurant. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she came outside, started yelling, and aggressively refused to let me park.
With such poor customer service, I will never order from this place again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The owner seriously needs to improve her attitude toward customers!

I went to pick up the order I received through Doordash and waited 10 minutes. When I wanted to pick up the order, they didn’t give me the drink and it should have been 2 brisk. The woman was insistent on giving me Pepsi. She didn’t give it to me until the order was confirmed. She used imperative words and was rude. I will never take an order from there again.

The food was delicious steak and cheese eggrolls were really large and cheesy and the peppers were not small, you could taste all the flavors! The shrimp po boy was very good! Fries were crunchy but potatoey. The honey bun cake….. OMG IT WAS VERY GOOD! Not too sweet, perfect amount of flavor, taste just like a honey bun!
