The food and service here are the best. They really make some delicious Mexican food with a twist of modern and trending flavors . Cajun on the shrimp flautas. Korean fusion hot wings. And the best nachos you will definitely love. The owner is so sweet and friendly. You’ll feel like your with family.

Had been looking forward to try this local spot and man, I was not disappointed. I was originally going to go with the flautas however was guided towards the star attraction, the 50/50 nachos aka Show Poney. From the first bite it was bliss with a fusion of flavors that are easy and hard to describe at the same time. As you dig deeper into the nachos you find even more sauce, guac, cheese, meat and smoke. At least that’s how I can best describe what have got to be the best nachos I’ve ever had. Highly recommend and Chef Eric was great at making it a welcoming atmosphere to all. Gracias and will be coming back soon!

Being a south central native, I have a high standard for how a big box of Mexican nachos should be. We all know the infamous Señor Taco spot on Florence and their renowned Nachos that have fed south la residents for generations, my family being one of those families. For many years I only ever hailed Señor Taco as the pinnacle of Nachos being that they were the only ones that can only out due themselves. Until today. I decided to try SoulMex and their take on the Nacho game. Off the bat the entire staff were kind and were ready to change my world. The nachos are made fresh along with the rest of the ingredients that are stacked sky high with your order! The meats were juicy and tender, the beans fresh, and the guacamole and cheese complimented everything all so well. It was culture and heaven dancing together in each bite. Everyone was so kind in introducing me to their amazing food and our family will gladly come back to try the rest of the delicious menu! If you’re looking for something new to kill your monotonous nacho order, then this place is the next go to spot to try!

Happy with the service and quality!! Thanks for the free flauta. These nachos are crunchy even after the drive home and exploding with flavor. The best street food/pop up I’ve had in EastLos.
