Stopped by Soulman’s Bar-B-Que in Mabank and it did not disappoint! The ribs were absolutely delicious, tender, flavorful, and perfectly smoked. One thing I really enjoyed was the great selection of sides and desserts. There’s something for everyone, and everything tasted homemade and fresh. If you’re craving good Texas BBQ with plenty of options to go with it, this spot is definitely worth the stop. Great service!

So my wife and I have eaten here often and it has always been good, but one time we went in and I ordered a pulled pork sandwich…it was terrible I didn’t notice it till we got back to our table..I understand that sometimes they are busy and maybe don’t notice stuff…but to serve me pulled pork that looks like it has been sitting out all day and dry as boot leather is just unacceptable. That being said the staff had no problem making me a new fresh sandwich..but I feel that the old dried out crap should have never been served to me in the first place. Don’t think we will return.

We had never been. Staff was patient while we sorted out the menu. Tons of choices, but I chose the soul bowl. It was very good. Portions are plentiful, lots of meat and toppings. We plan to return and try the stuffed potato. 10/10 recommend.

We enjoyed a fantastic late lunch. I had a chopped beef sandwich with spicy sauce. My husband chose the sliced beef plate. We both ate all of everything. The cabbage was scrumptious. The green beans should of had a bit more seasoning, in my opinion. The pinto beans & fries are always great.

I ordered 3 meat plate, turkey sausage and brisket with add on 2 ribs, wich they gave me 3, with fried cabbage and pinto beans, the cabbage was so spicy, could not eat and the beans were no quite done. The ribs and sausage were good, the sliced beef was dry and the turkey was more like processed turkey. Rubbery! Service was great, there was a line but moved quickly.

I ordered a catered meal for 10 people. Both people I spoke to in the restaurant and the catering person were so polite and helpful. The food picked up was delicious and plenty for all. This place will be my choice the next time we have a group to feed for sure! Their hot links are fire…I literally expected flames and the Mac and cheese was better than any I’ve had at other Soulman’s BBQs. Thank you for the short-notice dinner!

Food and service are the best however will be the last time I am here. I feel if you offer a 10% discount for senior’s stand behind it. Over 50% of the time I tell them I am a senior please give me the discount and it does not happen. I frequently come here spending a lot of money, oh well the other BBQ place will get my business. It’s a shame cashiers ran me off good bye for good.

I’ve had ribs all over the south, smoke my own and Soulman’s were great. Same for the smoked chicken and sausage.
The guys working were welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was clean, lively and a great Texas pride vibe for convenient high quality BBQ.
10x upgrade from the previous BBQ restaurant. Clearly have a passion and take pride in their restaurants.

Clean and good food. The wait can be long and it is a little spendy but bbq is not cheap anyway. Fatty brisket is so good, ribs are a very well seasoned too. Hot links has a kick to it, highly recommend!
