The staff were very polite and approachable, and our wraps were neatly prepared. The bread was especially delicious, soft and flavorful. The only downside was that the portion of meat felt a bit small compared to other gyro spots.
Overall, a pleasant experience with tasty food and friendly service.
Based on the response from the owner about changing meat suppliers (and the fact that they were celebrating their 15 year anniversary with $1.50 gyros), I gave this another chance…
The gyro was better. I still wouldn’t say it was great, but definitely better. I am happy to see they now have a combo of fries/drink for $2.99. It is less fries than the basket, but a decent amount. They still have Pepsi (I didn’t see Diet, but I guess it was Pepsi Max or whatever they call it these days). The carbonation was way too high again. Ended up with 1/2 cup after the foam went down. There are still too many better places to go for a gyro that are better choices though…

Gave this another try today. Went with the gyro wrap. It was worse than the gyro. Meat was still not tender. Wrap was kind of chewy. Still not filled well. At the ends, there were 6 or more layers of wrap because of the excess tortilla. They did turn down the carbonation on the soda so I could actually get a full cup. Still Pepsi though… I don’t see myself coming back.

I’ve been waiting 7 months to try this place since I first saw it “coming soon” last August. It was not worth the wait. The gyro meat was sliced paper thin and was not as tender as other places. The sauce seemed very watery. For the price ($10.99), it should have been filled a lot more. Fries were pretty good. You get a huge basket (more than you need) for $3.29. Soda is unfortunately Pepsi instead of Coke. The Diet Pepsi had so much foam, it was impossible to get more than 2/3 cup. Service was good. Music was kind of loud. It made it hard to hear the cashier asking me questions.
While I wouldn’t say it was terrible, there are many other gyro places in the area that would be a better choice. I know this location just opened, so I may give them another try at some point.
I recommend the Cali Gyro which includes bacon, avocado, and spicy tzatziki sauce. I ordered two Cali Gyros with feta and the total was about $28 after tax. They tasted amazing! The bacon was nice and crispy, just how I like it.
The interior is spacious with seating for 20 (currently 10 tables of 2 but could easily be pushed together).
In conclusion, this location is great and I’m sure I’ll be a regular here. If you like gyros, this place is an absolute must try!
If you want a marvelous gyro, try the Golden Chicken in St Peters. THAT place is outstanding!
