It started off good spending time with my family for my birthday. Our waiter was nice at first. We waited 45min to 1 hour bc I love there seafood and chicken. The waiter took our order, but later said the system was down so she supposedly wrote it down.
4 ppl got there order and 1 person got there sides only when we getting our tickets 1 person did not receive there flounder dinner.
The tickets was wrong, so we tried to tell them everybody orders. The waiter was getting frustrated and accusing that we had steaks, fries, finger tenders, mozzarella sticks and so forth. They started looking on the tables saying our manager brought those items and one by one we showed the plates and bowls of what we had.
4 of the workers was straight rude and nasty especially the one with the blonde ponytail, the long curly brown hair, and the one with the shoulder length brownish hair.
They kept saying yes you did receive this and I thought you had the order. I had to tell one of the waiters thats my momma so dont talk to her like that, and if we had a problem.
They was rolling there eyes and was refusing to give the owner information to make a complaint. One of the waiters even said out loud we cant make her or anyone apologize for nothing.
We always come this particular establishment, but not anymore.

I found this long piece of hair in my food. I called to speak with a manager and both were very rude. To make matters worst, this was my very first time eating food from here. They will never have to worry about me visiting again. Just distasteful and unprofessional. I think the manager name was Renee.

We were seated within 5 minutes of arriving. A crab bag with an additional lobster tail and fried chicken plate was ordered. It’s very hard to mess up a crab bag. It was seasoned well and enjoyed. There was nothing; however, favorable about the chicken wing plate that was ordered. Though fried crispy, the chicken lacked seasoning. It was also very veiny, which was both distasteful and unpleasant to look at. The sides were not great either. They too lacked seasoning or any flavor. The servers were very pleasant and checked in often to make sure we were okay with drinks and food. With a somewhat generous tip, the food totaled to about $95. I, personally, do not think that the food was worth the cost paid, especially being for two individuals who ordered a meal a piece. On the menus it says there are “absolutely no refunds,” and by the end of our meal, I could see why. This is not a place I would recommend for flavorful food as it did not meet my expectations.

The food is TRASH hence the reason there’s a big bold section on the menu saying NO REFUNDS. The catfish and cornbread wasn’t too bad. However, after explaining how poor the food was ( greens, Mac and cheese) and it being our first time eating here, you would think that management would’ve been nice enough to at least let us swap out our sides but of course the answer was no. They justified it by saying they couldn’t reuse the food being swapped which is RIDICULOUS. True soul Food requires a lot of effort and not just what’s on the menu. ‼️‼️

Portions are big, prices are fair, and it just feels like the kind of spot you can chill with friends, eat good food, and not feel rushed. Definitely adding this place to my go-to list. The vibe was laid back and the staff were super friendly. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Ate here last night with my family. Wasn’t greeted just stared at until I said something. Did come close to closing but close isn’t closed. The food was pretty good. Calamari was a little chewy. My snow crab was good I could have went hotter.My husband really enjoyed the oyster po boy. The veggie plate for my kids was tasty as well.The waitress was nice and kept our drinks full. They started mopping the entress while customers were still inside and my daughter slipped and hurt her knee. I’m undecided if I would eat here again.

This restaurant was having a grand opening. We saw that it was a soul food restaurant; however we did not realize it was a Chinese Soul Food Restaurant. Service was very slow and very odd. You get your appetizers almost the same time you get your meal AND your party receives food at different times. It took 30 mins to receive ANY food. My husband & I started w/appetizers. I had a house salad and he had Clam Chowder. He said the chowder was good. My salad was as expected. I ordered Pork chops, greens, & mac-n-cheese. Pork chops were seasoned well, but VERY thin. You get two, but equal to one. Greens were canned, mac was boxed mac with cheese sauce (not good). The Hubs ordered the Oxtails w/rice, greens. mac-n-cheese. Oxtails (2) were tasteless, boiled, & very fatty. He added loads of hot sauce to give it flavor. Drinks were over carbonated. My advice, don’t order Soul food, stick with the seafood. Will not return.

If you are looking for some delicious food and you are close to Aiken S.C. or like us about 40 mins away come check this place out! They definitely have the best seafood boil and the house seasoning is a MUST! For the non-seafood lovers they got you covered as well! They literally have a huge variety of different foods and even the Ox tails are fall off the bone delicious! I am so picky about my seafood but I want to drink the boil juice it’s so good! Please don’t change because y’all are even better than the seafood boil places in Charleston SC.

Okayyyy, review time in Today we frequented @Soul and seafood Southern style on Richland Ave. Suite 104 in South Carolina. We got there at noon and they were just opening. Renee was our waitress and she was wonderful. She said she only leaves tables with empty plates and she meant it. I can’t say that I am tired of good food because I’m not. This place was different. They have your taste buds covered. Seafood, yes!!! Soul food, yes!! Good sides and dessert, yes. My husband said if they had a burger then they’d have it all. The food was good good. He got the flounder and I got the pork chops and we mixed it up. Nothing on the plate was disappointing. We need to go back for the seafood. This place filled up so quick. I have been eating really good lately. I wonder who is going to break the streak? Y’all if you get there too late you may have to wait but the booths can hold six large behinds comfortably. Got the lunch special pork chops(2), collards greens and macaroni the plate felt extremely light. I got to the car and opened it they were the thin pork chops but I can settled for that bc they were hot and seasoned really good❤️, collards greens greens had no taste at all I mean absolutely no seasoning what so ever…macaroni was just ok!
