Soul food at its best in Millville NJ. Had the shrimp and grits. It was over the top with flavor quantity for the low $15. Also had their turkey wing dinner with mac & cheese, collar greens. I tell you, I’m going back for that again because the whole meal was luxury combined with hood. All the prices are reasonable, but their food is worth way more. Going to try their crab combo next times as it looks way better than the average seafood boil somewhere else.

While attending my son’s football game, I stopped by the food truck and was warmly greeted by a friendly staff member who quickly took my order. On her recommendation, I tried the fried whiting, mac and cheese, yams, and a blue drink, all of which were absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and I truly appreciate the great experience. I’ll definitely be supporting this establishment again in the future.

Catfish and Shrimp Alfredo was a hit. Seafood done right. Service was amazing too. I believe Tracy was our server and she was more than helpful with navigating the menu.

where do i start lol, the food was amazing, fish was crispy on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside. the batter had all the flavor, the potato salad was exactly how i like them, sweet yams was just perfect and the mac was great! me and my mans overall rating 10/10 we will be back again!!!

Heads up if u ever order to go or delivery eat a snack first. The waiting time at this place is ridiculous. Every single time u order here u will wait a good 20-30 mins. The cashier always looks flustered. This place is very unorganized. I can’t tell u how the food taste because I end up canceling my order because of how long it takes.

Ordered a whitings fish platter and it was not “soul food” first the fish had hell of little bones in it, couldn’t even eat it comfortably. My 2 sides, which was yams and Mac & cheese were also not right. They’re adding too much vanilla extract in the yams where as tho that’s all u taste! The Mac & cheese is more like butter noodles’ you dnt see ANY CHEESE or TASTE IT! Which was the most disappointing! They either need new cooks or the owner isn’t watching who makes the food. Terrible

I have ordered food from here a few times. The food is always tasty but a little salty. The last time I ordered food was Sunday 9/21/25 around 12:30pm. I ordered smothered turkey wings, mac n cheese, and string beans and peach cobbler. I picked up my food and it smelled so good. When i got home and begin to eat the food itwas soooooo salty. I ate a little bit but i couldnt eat anymore, the sodium taste was unbearable. Lets just say i wasted 20+. The food wouldve been eatable and good if it wasnt soooo salty. The rest of my food went in the trash. The peach cobbler was so so. Soul of the Sea owner can you please tell the cooks not to make the food so salty where u cant even eat it. Somebody is heavy handed with the salt.

A one and done for me. Ordered rib sandwich. The ribs were so hard and dry, they had to be a day or two old and there was no bread. Threw them away. Ordered whiting with cabbage and potato salad. Fish was good, it’s hard to mess up fried fish. Cabbage was leftover and mushy from being reheated over and over and potato salad was bland. Threw them away as well. I went there based on the reviews, but was very disappointed. Will not go back.
