Soul good yall gotta do better.. is something going on? Is revenue down?? You guys usually come thru with REAL QUALITY FOOD, I come here all the time.. I’ve never seen these cheap microwave fries .. and cheap box Mac n cheese .. did someone quit or something? The customer service was great. The food was good for the most part, but some things could’ve been better. The yams seemed a bit overcooked. But the meatloaf, collard greens, and yellow rice were great. The prices are a bit high, but you get some heavy portions. My plate was enough for two servings. Wish the Mac & cheese had style been available when I showed up though.

Sad because I loved this restaurant! I ordered fish n grits. Noticed the grits had hair in them. The “French toast” was stale as hell , the porch chops were dryer than a roll of paper and the potato salad side came in Costco sample cups do not recommend.

I live in the area but don’t generally eat in the area. I wish I would’ve stuck to that. This food was bland as hell. I asked for cheese grits and I’m pretty sure these are those instant cheese grits cuz there’s not a single taste of cheese. The fish must be old because whiting is a mild fish and doesn’t normally smell or taste super fishy but I could smell it through the bag. The smell is actually louder than cat fish. The biscuit tastes like it was cooked in bacon grease. If I could give this plate 0 stars, I would. Eeeeeyuck.

I FOUND THIS SPOT ON A HUMBUG BECAUSE MY FAVORITE SOULFOOD SPOT WAS CLOSED.. MIND YOU, I’M A BIG FOODIE, GO TO DIFFERENT RESTAURANTS TRYIN ALL KINDA OF FOOD & I LOVE TO SUPPORT MY PEOPLE… WE SPENT $83 ($30 WAS FOR CHITTLINGS) I WAS SO EXCITED.. If I could rate is a -1 stars I would. I wouldn’t at from here if they told me the food was free for life cause it’s no way I order food through an app I’m waiting and you give me food that an animal wouldn’t sniff let alone eat. Meatloaf yellow rice and white beans kind you I didn’t pick the items they were picked for me and you can tell they were old and warmed up almost went to jail because I through that plate right back inside that counter !!! I was really excited to check out this spot because the food looked amazing and the open bar was a cool feature. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match up to my expectations. The lady at the register seemed distracted and wasn’t very welcoming. It gave me the impression that she assumed I had been there before, which made the experience feel a little off. I was really hoping for a more friendly and engaging welcome.

I just wanna say the customer service was outstanding but how in the world do you give me frozen French toast sticks you couldn’t make fresh French toast for me. I paid over $40 for two plates. We are very disappointed very disappointed this is ridiculous.

Meatloaf is the bomb, yams are okay not all that Mac and cheese is okay not all that. Portion of food was a lot and worth it for the price of pay but food don’t give a place for soul food. Service was great, homemade juice wasn’t good at all. Price is not worth the meal
