What a Delicious dining experience with friends last Night at Soul Flavor! We had not been in a while and were excited to go. Our server, Lynn was very attentive and offered suggestions about various dishes. We had the chicken Cobb salad, which was divine, fish tacos, and a burger. So delicious! Everyone enjoyed every morsel! We all talked about how glad we were to choose Soul Flavor for dinner!

The chef is skilled. All the fried dishes we had were light and crisp. The shrimp stole the show each time it appeared. In house made desserts and drinks were also wonderful.

We got to this place as a group of 6 people. It was over that 50 min till we got food on our table. (Not worth to wait)
I feel bad writing this review, because I heard the owner is a very good person. I wish the service became better though!
Am I mean the actual service, cause to say “sorry it took so long”, “I will take care of you guys” with a smile it is sweet. But to forget the order…. Hm.
So I asked dressing on a side, but got my Caesar floating in that sauce. We had to ask about straws.
Table was sticky, which is one of the main reasons why I am sharing this review! I was wearing really nice long sleeve dress and I felt like in a cheap random fast food greasy place.
The menu looked good though.
And a waiting area with a couches and a bar.
I’ve got special, scallops with a crab cake. I wanted to substitute the scallops, but our server said they usually don’t do that but I will ask for you(she was nice saying that)
But! She never got back with an answer and just brought the crab cake with the scallops. I was glad in the end coz scallops were good, and the crab cake was not my favorite at all!
Also, not very fresh bathroom. I get it, it was dinner time, the end of the day. However, it feels like the owner doesn’t want to hire more people, as he can’t deal with all at once, obviously.
Grateful for that experience.
Don’t dress up for this place.

Oh, and I had a bite of ribs from my gather in law. Ribs were amazing!

I’m sure it would be the perfect fit for someone more eccentric. Just wasn’t my vibe. Reminded me of a hole in the wall bar style, which most people love! The food was very flavorful, but not as many options as I was looking for. The ribs were the best I’ve ever tried. Highly recommend those. The waitresses were switched as soon as we sat down, but they were both very attentive.

Decided to go here for valentines dinner, it was AMAZING!!! I had the ribs with side salad n fries hands down the best ribs I’ve ever had n salad the ranch was ridiculously good! Husband had chicken cutlets they were fabulous! Everything was fresh tasty and so good hats off to the chef!! Definitely give them a try you will not be disappointed!

I recently moved from Nashville, Tennessee and enjoy good food. This restaurant is phenomenal all the way around. Very laid back atmosphere, fantastic food and even better service. I love that they have a great menu with new specials every day. Lynne is our very favorite and has made us feel at home since the first time we walked in. Don’t miss this culinary gem.

Everything was wonderful! The vibe of the place is just great! Full of energy and life! Service was wonderful – the hostess, the Server, the others passing by – kind, friendly, and helpful. And the food – absolutely delicious!! The desert crepe was out of this world! If you haven’t tried this place – please bless yourself by adding this to your list! Can’t wait to go back!

This restaurant is fantastic! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and daily specials. Two bars and lots of variety of seating. We love seating at the bar, our bartender Natalie was fabulous – attentive and knowledgeable, and pleasant! I had the Tropical Tikka Masala, which was so delicious, great flavors with lots of fish, seafood, and bits of tropical delight! My husband had the lobster crab rolls, really tasty! As someone told us, the specials are so great you’ll rarely order off their regular menu. I enjoyed their white sangria too, a definite recommendation! You won’t be disappointed here!
