This was some of the best soul food I’ve ever had in my life. The turkey knuckles were a smothered in barbecue and they were perfect the barbecue sauce was amazing. the sweet potatoes were cooked with love and the was out of this world I highly recommend to try the food it’s to die for!!

I ordered online as I had been wanting some wonderful catfish and grits and I didn’t have time to prepare any at home. The portions were generous in my order that contained two pieces of catfish, cheesy grits and macaroni and cheese.
The up side… the catfish was delicious, well prepared, crispy and seasoned very well. The cheesy grits were also tasty with good texture and flavors.
The down side… my mac and cheese was very dry, hard and had a taste of lemon and other odd flavors throughout. It didn’t taste like mac and cheese and I didn’t eat it after the first couple of bites. I was disappointed on this part because I absolutely love a good home cooked mac and cheese and I paid for a side that wasn’t edible.
Finally… the lemon wedges on top of the food, while a pretty garnish… it tends to be a strong flavor on the palate and doesn’t taste well on everything. I would recommend it on the side.
Overall I would definitely recommend and order again from Soul Filled in the future. The catfish definitely did not disappoint!!!

I was finally able to stop in and try ya’ll out and was very satisfied. Fed me and my two girls lunch and dessert!!! Sooo delicious and that sweet potato pie is phenomenal ⭐️

Oh. My. God. So, the Jucy Lucy burger had me ascending to a higher plane of being. I shed actual tears when I bit into it. My wife was gobsmacked. My sister in law joined me in a single tear movie moment. The Mac and cheese was beautiful. My only regret is that I live across the country and will only be able to eat here once or twice a year. If you are nearby, you HAVE to eat here—I don’t make the rules.

BBQ turkey knuckles were good but the greens were AMAZING! And that hot water cornbread….OMG! Friendly service too! Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back. Wife had the shrimp and grits. She liked them, not my jam.

I was looking for a restaurant that sold soulful food and Soul Filled did not disappoint. I enjoyed smothered chicken with two sides along with their vanilla cake which was moist and light. They would be my first catering choice. I highly recommend Soul Filled.

You can’t go wrong, my wife and I have eaten there several times. Everything we have ordered has been amazing. From the wings to the ribs, cornbread and greens. The Mac n cheese comes out hot and melting, the aromas and atmosphere at the lumber mans vault. Soul Filled makes for a perfect date spot.

It took 45 minutes to get our food and when we got it we were missing one whole dinner.. the shrimp and grits ,so I waited longer and watched the man pull the plate out of the microwave eventually…when they finally gave us the shrimp and grits it was still ice cold in the center and the shrimp and sausage were rubbery. The whole dish was microwaved .
We have had soul filled at the old place and Catered and LOVED it before!! unfortunately when we finally got a chance to try the new place the quality was unimpressive and the service was even worse. I’m so sad to write this review because we had such high hopes for her new place
