Went for a Hike at the Watchung Reservation, once we finished headed here for a nice breakfast bowl.
Now im a fan of Oatmeal, but this place took it up a notch. I got the protein bowl with Bananas and extra Soulnola. Man, lemme tell you, im coming back.

My husband took me here recently for a birthday treat. This family is VERY personable and kind every time we visit. They have fresh, vegan ingredients and the exceptional customer service is superb from beginning to end. Hands down, Soul Bowls has the BEST acai bowls we’ve ever tasted! The BEST part of that experience was the surprise candles on my treat. She said, “Make a wish!” It was a beautiful moment. Thank you, Soul Bowls, for such a caring gesture! It’s been long overdue that I’m writing this, but please bear with me as it crucial you read this in its entirety. Ever since I discovered Soul Bowls nearly 2 years ago, I’ve never found a business that has captivated my attention quite like this one. When you stumble upon a 100% vegan business that delivers such an exceptional level of quality, consistency, and undeniable customer oriented focus it makes you wonder why you haven’t discovered them sooner. Customer service is one of the most mentally demanding aspects of business, and Soul Bowls handles this with true expertise. From the moment I started visiting this business, I’ve watched them continue to grow and deliver the most appetizing meals that I’ve ever come across. Endless combinations to choose from on the menu, seasonal specialties along with a variety of grab n’ go’s, and even Soul Bowls merchandise on site to browse and purchase! It truly didn’t come as a surprise once they opened up their second location in Metuchen as this business curates so much well deserved attention that it is crucial that they expand. More people deserve Soul Bowls. It’s impossible to walk into this establishment and leave without a smile, I am so grateful to have such a wonderful place to visit. Started from a food truck, Michelene & Alicia kicked this business into overdrive so quickly that they threw on the brakes and had to open up a brick & mortar location. Tucked away in Scotch Plains, I guarantee you once you visit you’ll be blown away. Before you blink twice, you’ll find yourself back inside ordering a second round as your eyes start to wander through the remainder of the menu. Take it as a pro tip, if you have trouble deciding pick a pre-built bowl, can’t go wrong with the “Elvis”. However, once you’re ready for the big league you’ll need to “build your own” and add as many toppings as you can pronounce off the menu. Throw in a smoothie, or treat yourself to a fresh juice. And while you’re at it, pick a few options from the “grab n’ go” fridge so you can snack before you get home to devour your bowl. This business features indoor & outdoor seating, bathroom on site, and a beautifully curated interior layout & design. I’m going to attach a compilation of bowls, keep your drooling to a minimum and get your butt over to one of the best 100% vegan businesses you will find in the local area. Pictured also is my most recent favorite the “Drunk’n Punkin” bowl with a Detox juice on the side. Thank you Michelene & Alicia for your truly inspiring and outright awesome business, you are a blessing to the surrounding community and I cannot thank you enough for creating a masterpiece. Soul bowls is a charming, aesthetic spot and they make the best bowls!!! The staff is so friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk in. They layer the bowls unlike other places so you still have fruit and toppings when you get to the middle and bottom of the bowl. So fresh and delicious and they even have a kids size! It’s my daughters’ and my favorite place for bowls!

I have a gluten & cow’s milk allergy and I love how accommodating Soul Bowls is! When ordering online they have a plethora of modifications you can check off for allergies and/or personal preferences.
I absolutely LOVE their banana base for making a bowl. It’s made with NO refined sugar which makes me feel good about eating. I always get a DIY bowl and pick and choose what I want. They make every order with precision and take pride and care in everything they make.
They also make their own coffee flavorings from essential oils (which means clean, no refined sugar ingredients) and that’s something I can stand behind! Soul Bowls is a must try where you can grab a guilt-free treat that you’ll come back for again and again!
