Beautiful, delicious food. The sauces are all excellent. Even the basic marinara sauce is special. We have eaten here more than a dozen times and it has been great every time. By the way, I am not someone who is comparing this to top Ramen. I am an experienced, older diner who knows when something is exceptional.

I have been coming here since my freshman year of college at UCSB. I am a very picky eater and I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant while biking through Isla Vista. Let me start off by saying that the atmosphere itself is amazing, it feels casual yet you get the whole experience of an actual restaurant. The owners are the cutest Italian couple ever and their service and quality of food do not disappoint. As far as food, I have literally tried everything! There is something for everyone on their menu and I enjoyed everything, keep in mind that I am a picky eater so for me to enjoy every dish speaks a lot for this restaurant. My absolute favorite dish here is the Bolognese Lasagna – the sauce is DELICIOUS and it is by far the best lasagna I have had! But you will not go wrong with any dish, because Elisabetta is an amazing chef.
This is my all time favorite restaurant and it is my go to spot with my boyfriend. The owners are very kind and welcoming – they genuinely care about their customers and they remember our usual orders. It is nice to know that they take the time to remember and care for their customers, which is another reason why we dine her so often.
The greatest part of dining here often is that when they are trying out new recipes/dishes we get to sample them before they go on the menu for everyone else.

Probably some of the worst Italian food I have ever eaten in my life. My friend and I had this place deliver to my condo in Goleta and it was overall pretty terrible. I would seriously take the positive reviews of this place with a grain of salt because people clearly do not know what they are talking about. I ordered a Margherita Pizza and the chicken Fettucine Alfredo- the Margherita Pizza was just a tasteless cheese pizza without basil, garlic or fresh tomatoes, and the cheese was stuck to the top of the box so when I opened it, it all came off. The Alfredo sauce did not taste homemade and the pasta was clearly store bought. To make matters worse, the chicken in my Fettucine Alfredo seriously tasted canned. My friend, who actualy went to culinary school, said his food was pretty bad as well. I would easily say that Petrini’s and Presto Pasta is a lot better than this place. The only good thing about this place was the price and the only reason it has positive reviews is because students, who don’t know any better, think it’s better than their usual Top Ramen dinners.
