Owner and pizza designer, Giovanni, grew up in a small town on the island of Sicily. He brought his love for pizza with him when he immigrated to the United States in 1960. He found his passion in 1969 and decided to make Sorrento Pizza the household name it is today. Not all pizzas are created equal. The art of the pizza is an Italian tradition. It’s Giovanni’s mission to pour his love of the pizza into every pie he designs. He chooses only the very best ingredients in all of his prized receipes.

From their delicious pizza sauce to their salads and pastas, the choices are plenty! If you want homemade flavors and the best dinner or lunch choices miles around, drop Sorrento’s a call, or hit em up online for an authentic Italian choice Don’t forget their canzones and chicken dinners. You can get 2 giant fantastic slices and a pop for 6 bucks! You can’t go anywhere and get good food and be full for 6 bucks, this place is legit.
Their subs, amazing, they make the bread daily, my tip would be get it hot!
They do have indoor seating but only 3 small tables, we generally get it to go.

Forget about other spots in the local area, I’ve been eating at this spot my whole life and they always deliver amazing food. This is an old school pizza spot consistency is key, love for the community is key, quality ingredients is key. They have it all!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile, and today was finally the day. I ordered a small, round pepperoni pizza. I drove there and pulled up to the drive thru window, which I really appreciated since it was raining. The transaction was fast and polite, and the pizza was really delicious! My only regret is that I waited this long. I will be going back to try literally everything on the menu.

Used to really enjoy this place, but it takes one bad experience to ruin it. Buyer beware if you get a salad. Their lettuce is gross and inedible. $10 down the drain.
While waiting for my food, watched two go out back to take a break. One of them sat directly on the ground in their work clothes. That’s surely sanitary.

Sorrento Pizza on 9 Mile rd in Warren has the best pizza in the Detroit area my family has been ordering pizza there for over 40 years. They still use mozzarella cheese unlike the chains. The sauce is great and the pepperoni are the old school ones that hold the grease. Truly the best pizza!!

Never had a problem until tonight. Pizza got here and was cold. Called them and manager said since it got here between the timeframe they said there’s nothing he can do about it. I order atleast once a week from here, not even an apology from the manager. Way to turn away a frequent buying customer.

haven’t had Sorrento in over a decade, ordered a pie last night andnits only gotten better with time! I ordered a 16″ XL Pan pizza with sausage and mushrooms and it was one of the best pan pizzas I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to work this one off so I can get another one!

Sorrento’s pizza is the best in the world!! We go so often, they don’t even ask what I’m getting when I pull up to the window, they just hand me my pop, take my money and tell me it will be 2 minutes until my slices are ready!!!
