Started with the 5 cheese white pizza. The last time I tasted crust like this was in Little Italy, New York in the 80’s. Honestly I could have ended dinner there, it was so delicious but I stopped so I could try other dishes. Their crust is made with imported flour from Italy, it’s insanely delicious. They even serve the piping hot pizza on a beautiful authentic, Italian plate instead of a typical tin.
For dinner I ordered the braised short ribs over soft polenta, my mate had the fettuccine bolognese (added meatballs).
Everything was amazing, I can’t think of one thing I would change. My meat was plentiful and the leanest most tender I’ve ever had in my life.. The chef is an authentic Italian grandfather who came out to check on all the customers. I complemented him and he said “good, that’s what I need to know, thank you”.
The whole restaurant is Italian family owned and operated. I could go on, the wines are special too. We will definitely be back, probably in a couple days. Perhaps we’ll sit at the bar for dinner next time.

Service was great! Nice atmosphere. The food was top notch! The wife and I will be back very soon! The calamari was in house made and very fresh. We ordered the specials, turkey lasagna and osso buco. They also had a nice wine selection. Also the flour less cake was right up there as well. Thanks for great food and a great time!

I think the white pizza with pistachio and ham may be my favorite in all of Scottsdale. It tastes so good and isn’t heavy or salty. So good! My husband had the eggplant pasta and it was amazing.
On another occasion, I had the gnocchi with shrimp and the flourless chocolate cake. Also, so good!

The place has new owners and my daughter and I decided to go check it out. Everything was perfect. From the hostess, to the servers, how clean the place was, menu, food, pizza crust and even the flavor of the tap water!

Here it is. They have a few different pasta choices that are gluten-free and they also have gluten-free pizza. If need be some of us are gluten-free and others are not so it’s great to have these options. Most things are made from scratch.
This place is decorated so cute. I love the bright lemon Italian colors.. Igor really took good care of us, we slid in and in and sat at the bar, we ordered a pizza. It was very good, tasty. We loved the flavor and the spice but we like our pizza crust to be crispy around bottom so we can actually pick it up, but that was so minor.. I just put it on my plate and cut it up.. I gotta say, I was pretty impressed at the pizza and the place is so bright, decorated well, the food was good. We met some regulars that go one to two times a week. Now, that’s pretty impressive. They’ve only been open for a little bit over eight months, but they already have regulars.
Take notes because in the future, they will have plenty of outdoor seating when it cools down a bit. There is a 3.5% credit card charge, but not if you pay cash.

We shared some burrata, a couple pizzas and some tagliatelle with meat sauce. Everything made in house. You can tell. Very authentic Italian, delicious. We will definitely be back.

I’m Italian and I’ve traveled extensively, but stopping at Ristorante Sorrento in Scottsdale was truly something special. From appetizer to dessert, this place is pure Italian poetry on a plate. Every dish reflects authenticity, passion, and deep respect for our culinary traditions.
I can honestly say this is the kind of food that takes you straight back to Italy — in fact, it’s so good that I ate better here than at my nonna’s house in Puglia (and that’s saying a lot!).
