Saw this place on Google Maps. Food looked delicious from the photos others have posted. Figured I would try it out. WOW. 10/10 for service. Atmosphere. This breakfast food was the real deal. You can tell they make everything from scratch. Which I love. The flavor is there. The authenticity is there. If I was not visiting from out of town I would come to this place every SINGLE weekend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Breakfast Review – Sorrentios, Route 9 Howell NJ
This morning we decided to go out for breakfast and try a brand new place that just opened — Sorrentios on Route 9 in Howell, New Jersey — and we are really glad we did.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile. The place already had a nice crowd inside, which is always a good sign for a new spot. The staff took our order and even read it back to us to double-check everything. We asked for a few changes to our sandwiches and they made the adjustments right away, no questions asked.
The atmosphere was great. Music was playing, the restaurant was very clean, and you could feel a really positive energy in the air. People were sitting down enjoying breakfast together and it had that welcoming neighborhood feel that you hope for in a breakfast spot. For a new business, they looked like they already knew exactly what they were doing.
Now for the food — everything was cooked to perfection.
I had the steak, egg, and bacon sandwich with a side of avocado, and Randy and I both had hash browns. The hash browns were perfectly cooked — crispy and delicious. Randy had a bacon and egg sandwich on toasted rye with guacamole. The bacon was extremely crisp and flavorful.
The eggs were fresh and cooked perfectly, the toast was done just right and held the sandwich together nicely, and every bite had great flavor. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and the sandwiches were very filling.
The price was also very reasonable for the portion size and quality of the food. Service was quick and the staff was very friendly. The kitchen area was visible and spotless, which is always great to see.

I was truly looking forward to stopping in for breakfast. Place was clean and cozy and waitress extremely nice and prompt. Coffee tastes like Starbucks bitter coffee 6 sugar and 5 cream barely helped. Home fries had smoked paprika, garlic powder and something else the waitress told me after I asked “why does the home fries taste weird “. I asked for ” crispy bacon ” and got burnt mostly black bacon. Waitress didn’t charge me for the disaster and I left a $5 . Why do some places feel the need to ” jazz it up” Let home fries taste like home fries !!!

Howell’s hidden gem.
Super creative menu, staff is always friendly. I haven’t had a single thing that wasn’t top-notch – even tried things that I typically don’t like, and it was great. They make a lot of their own stuff, too!
Pricing is very fair. You’ll spend less here than at sick-fil-a, for sure!
My only complaint is that the place gets full, fast, so there is a wait, at times. Good problem to have!

The music was great, the service, friendly, efficient, and thoughtful by Marie P., and the food delectable. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for Sorrentino’s II!
After multiple visits, the staff, food, and atmosphere at Sorrentino’s II continues to shine. I highly recommend a meal here.
Sorrentino’s continues to provide great service, and great food!

First time eating there and i have to say the food was pretty great. It was understaffed (like everywhere) but they did their best and it was barely noticeable… Lots of good choices on the menu and im sure we will return one day…

Plenty on site parking. This cozy little corner restaurant is a place I will be going back to. Went at noon on a Sunday with 5 people. Place was busy. Young ladies at thr front were very welcoming. I explained we were waiting on 2 people and she said she would get a table together within 10-15 minutes. She had one in 10, and let 3 of us sit while we waited for the other 2. Waitresses are so so nice and attentive, not over the top. Always smiling. We ordered the corned beef hash and eggs–my husband loved it, said hashbriwns and corned beef were awesome-hes picky, I had the Nutella pancakes with strawberries and bananas–get both, I didn’t regret it. Thr pancakes were 3 stack, decent size, a little fluffy, just enough fruit and Nutella with a side of syrup–rhey were really good , a friend had rhe elvis and the other 2 had burgers–all were satisfied with their selections. They take cash or credit. Prices are reasonable. The place is cute inside, tables spaced out well. They also had some hot cocoa bombs for sale, my husband bought a few–we’re trying those later. Overall a really nice restaurant with really great staff and really good food!

This is my favorite breakfast place, we come here almost every Sunday after church. My favorite dish is the Elvis with pancake so good, I included a picture . Also the service is great and very clean. The place is very small so in some cases you might need to wait to be seated but if you get there around 10 or 10:30 you might be okay.
