Social Profile:

Sorrell’s On The Square is a locally owned restaurant with the goal of serving high quality food at a reasonable price in a fun, safe, and clean environment. We want our place to be a destination restaurant. We’ll do that by offering top-shelf ingredients, an eclectic menu, a well-trained upbeat positive staff, and by working with other businesses to showcase the best Coshocton has to offer. “Instead of us going to Zanesville, Canton, Columbus, or Millersburg for something to eat, those people will be coming into our town” Gary Sorrell Sit back, relax, and enjoy the WOW!

If you want a family friendly place with awesome food, awesome people, with prices and daily specials even more awesome, Sorrell’s On The Square is the perfect place! Their country fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, texas toast, and their green beans is one of my personal favorites. Their 1811 Buger is awesome too! They have a special every day of the week, including $10 Burger, Fries, and Drink on Thurday nights to Prime Rib on Saturday. There is hardly ever a wait, but even when there is, don’t let that discourage you, the food is nothing short of amazing! I would highly recommend eating here if you are in or around Coshocton!

Went with a large party for a birthday celebration. They had advance notice and yet we were split apart even though there was a table available right next to us, but had other guests. Knowing we were coming they should have sat that party elsewhere as there was plenty of open tables.
Each of the 3 tables we had were served our food at different times. The first table was completely finished eating before tables 2 and 3 received their food.
Then each table was given 1 check and we had to split it up amongst ourselves.
However, it still was a nice time with great service, good food and most of all great company.
But would pick a different restaurant for a large party in the future.

Met family here on Thursday, October 9th around 11:15 am for lunch. My stepmom and I had eaten lunch here a couple of years ago and the food and service were impeccable! This time, what a disappointment. One person ordered the Pretzel Bites, another the hamburger deal, another the Country Fried Steak dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy, myself, the Liver and Onions dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy. When we were here a couple of years ago, everything was amazing. Not this time. The worst part was the fact that there were 2 tables occupied when we went in and seated ourselves. The Country Fried Steak dinner and my Liver and Onions dinner were both barely lukewarm. The muscle fibers and/or connecting tissues in the liver were so tough, it was hard to eat. We did not complain, we ate it, but were not happy with it. I ordered a Dr Pepper and it was about 1 1/2″ from the top of the glass. I asked the waitress for a refill, but she cleaned up the dishes from the table and took our payments and never brought a refill. I even left a tip, but was not happy about that. The restaurant was no where near full during the whole time we were there. There were not more than 6-8 tables. No reason for our food to be lukewarm, no reason for the waitress to not get me a refill. Sadly enough, we were home for Alabama and I was looking forward to another great meal at Sorrell’s but we will not be going there again. Finally, another lady in our party brought it to the waitress’s attention that she never brought my refill and asked her if I could get a to go cup. She did not seem impressed with that either. Had I not tipped her, I could understand her not wanting to but we were polite customers, did not complain……unfortunately. So, this is MY review from MY experience. Take it as you want, but as far as our family goes, we will take our business elsewhere. Hating to complain, but it is what it is………lesson learned.

$11.99 bang bang chicken
Horrible portion size. It says “shareable” on the menu, nobody is sharing that lol.

$5.99 pretzel bites. Horrible portion size.

$12.99 Patty Melt. Was the same size if not smaller of my sons grilled cheese he ordered :/
Smallest burger I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

I said no onions, it came with onions, im allergic to onions, so I had to ask to have it taken off the bill because by the time they remake it, everyone else at the table would be done, waitress had to bring the owner over to advise the situation, which felt a little much, why not just take it off the bill. Shouldn’t have to explain it twice, wasn’t that big of a deal, people make mistakes, I wasn’t upset lol.

They charged my 5 year old son for an adult sweet tea, not a children’s.

Someone at our table ordered the chicken Parmesan and there was barely any sauce on the noodles.

Waitress was efficient and polite, we made sure to tip her ❤️ wasn’t her fault. Owner seemed nice as well.

Never have been a fan of this place, the portion size and food quality isn’t the greatest.

The Warehouse is definitely coshoctons leading restaurant ✍

This is usually my favorite place to eat. Hubby asked mye this morning if I’d like to go to dinner for Christmas tonight!!!! I called the restaurant at 12:45 this afternoon to make sure they’d be serving my favorite. I also enquire about my favorite SERVER!!!! I am informed yes she will be working. I’m so excited all day! Get all dolled up n drive 45 minutes ONE WAY after a day of work.

DENIED AND TURNED AWAY AT THE DOOR!!!! They REFUSED to let us have the server I requested!!!!! Are you freaking serious????? Fine we ate Mexican next door spent $75 on dinner and still had a great server! We tipped 35%

It was my Christmas present to pick the restaurant and the waitress that I wanted. And my gift to the server the tip and I am severely disappointed in your NO REQUEST policy!!!!

My husband and I’s food this evening was delicious. Everything arrived quickly, and our drinks were actively being refilled without asking. However, while eating our food, we overheard a waitress talking badly about one of her co workers loud enough for my husband and I, as well as the tables around us to turn and give one another a weird look. I spoke with the hostess to ask for her name, and they replied with, “April”. Attitude like this in their workplace can directly affect those involved performance, and affect patrons overall eating experience.

It was okay. We really wanted it to be better. The food isn’t bad just ok. The music was way too loud. One server for multiple tables.
Clean over all and friendly staff.
