Last time I visited, I ordered takeout – fish fillet, congri and boniato hervido. When I got home and was ready to eat, I realized the boniato had gone bad, and I didn’t like the congri. However, the fish fillet was very good. I also bought some dessert (arroz con leche) and mango juice.
I’ll come back because I’ve ordered takeout from here many times before and never had any issues.

This place is delicious! Authentic fresh food every day. Boiled yuca is delicious. Arroz imperial is to die for! Would recommend. I will go here every time I’m in the area.

Great Authentic Cuban Food anything you could want and extremely fresh. They also have great options for party from imperial rice to lechon and much more highly recommend for all events and daily lunch or dinner and did I mention great portions for a great price.

Came in on a recommendation from a local. I was looking for everyday, good and simple Cuban food.
I was not disappointed! I really enjoyed everything. I had the Vaca Frita, with arroz moro and calabaza. With Boniato Fritos on the side (sweet potato).
Definitely give this place a try.

The best place for Cuban food to go I had tried. It is true that it is close to my house and it makes it very convenient to me but nevertheless it is an awesome place. Everything I had try from there I liked it. Also It is not expensive and on top of that with the amount of food you get in one plate can eat two or three people. I truly recommend this pace.

Basic “comida por libra” type of place with counter service. For the best deal, go with the specials, otherwise make sure to ask for pricing as it won’t be posted anywhere. The portions are good albeit heavy on the rice. Attached is the latest Specials Menu. The price has gone up over the years (I remember when it was as low as $4.99).
