Food was pretty okay for the price. The atmosphere and vibe are great, very cozy with a smidge of an upscale feel. Staff was attentive. Happy hour variety and prices were pretty good. We dropped in because our first few picks didn’t have any availability for a party of 6; as far as accommodating a medium size party for a walk in it was good.

It was a very enjoyable dinner we had! The food was great and even though the prices were definitely steeper than what I would like to pay, it made up for it with the quality of the food, the atmosphere and we had a really great server!

I had high hopes for this restaurant, but sadly, it didn’t live up to expectations. The bar service was slow and inattentive from the start. Our first disappointment was the mussel appetizer—it was almost impossible to find the mussels in the bowl, and the bread served with it was stale, as if it had been sitting out for days. Our main courses didn’t fare much better. The fish was completely dried out, and the veal was so tough that a steak knife was needed to cut through it. The food quality was a major letdown across the board, and it’s a shame.

Thank you for accomodating our group of 10 friends last Friday night. We’ve visited your restaurant annually for the last 5-6 years same weekend. We love sitting on the Sorellina side the best. Great wine choices and the pastas are so good. We appreciated that they split the plates for the couples you shared app, salad and entre. This service really stands out:) The shrimp pasta was beyond good as is the Ceasar salad. I heard from the other end of the table that the chowder soup was to die for. I know we’ll be back next year on our visit with the rest of the crew. Our waitress was awesome. I hope she will remember us:) Thanks for doing 5 bills as well. Cheers to a great time!

Dinner with friends who live in Traverse City and recommended this place. Lively, upscale vibe with good prices. We opted for the three course fixed price special. Salads, entrees and desserts. Good service. Very nice experience.

We’re TC locals and have been to Sorellina many times — we’ve tried everything on the menu and the consistency is why we keep coming back. This visit: Bread for Two + San Marzano Bisque to start (the bisque is a must-order). My wife always gets the Vodka Rigatoni (no ricotta) and I always return to the Tips & Fungi — after years of visits, those two are still the best dishes here.

Food was excellent. Atmosphere is upscale but with a dim lighting that makes it intimate. Customer service was on point considering how busy they were. They have linen napkins, if you know then you know. We started off with the spinach & artichoke dip which was served in a cast iron skillet. It should be served with more bread but was still very flavorful. Servings are not huge but enough to fill you up & the quality of the ingredients & care the food is prepared with makes up for that. I recommend the lasagna which came in a small cast iron skillet .Chicken Parmesan breast was very thick & fried perfectly served with a noodle wider than regular spaghetti noodles. The marinara was the heart & soul of these 2 dishes. The shrimp Alfredo, which could have had a few more shrimp was rich & creamy but not overpowering. I do recommend reserving a table because this place always seems to be busy.

We had our holiday party there last Friday and everything was perfect! The Event Coordinator, Amanda, was so easy to work with. Emails were always answered and returned promptly.
Amanda and her team took great care of us throughout the evening. Their level of service was out of this world! The food, the atmosphere and the customer service was amazing! Thank you so much for hosting our event! 10/10
