Passing through Monroe and hit up Google Maps for coffee shops and ended up at Sorella Coffee. It’s located in a really cool downtown area lined with shops, restaurants, etc. The staff were very nice and they had good coffee (they make their own syrups which is pretty cool). If you are not a coffee drinker, try the chai tea. Plenty of space to find a spot to sit for a bit; downstairs, upstairs, out front and out back. Will definitely visit Sorella again when we are in Monroe.

Great coffee drop in Monroe! Definitely vibes to the feminine, but the “Sisters” cafe is being discovered by the bros as well. The espresso drinks are a highlight, but the chill and peaceful space is also a strong draw. Nice indoor seating, but don’t miss the street or back patio hang outs! Upstairs is a great option. Staff is always friendly and attentive.

We were driving through Monroe and decided to stop and try out this coffee shop. I’m glad we stopped. Very easy to get to. Parking could be tricky but we got lucky to get a parking spot across from them. The shop is very bright, clean and airy. The energy is very relaxing and peaceful! Tyler and Tucker were very friendly, welcoming and helpful! They helped us out and answered our questions! We ordered 2 mocha lattes and a matcha latte. They were very delicious! Looking forward to coming back again and try some other coffees!!! I loved their take-out bag!

Love exploring this place with my friend, the area is very historical and cute looking. They allow us to go upstairs to talk and play some games they have while we chatted. I didn’t try their baked goods this time but for sure will next time I visit.

Love this little coffee shop! I’m personally not a coffee drinker so I can’t comment on that but I did enjoy the matcha here! One of my friends had a latte and she enjoyed it but another friend had a cappuccino and said it’s not good so do what you will with that information. The customer service was great and they were really caring when I asked if they could make an unusual drink. As well, the aesthetic and decor of the coffee shop is cute and very pleasing to the eye!

I have been to many coffee shops all around the world and Sorella is the best one I have been to by far. The staff are very friendly and the drinks are exceptional. I believe this shop is the reason why Monroe is coming back to life.

Absolutely love this coffee shop! The atmosphere is so cozy and charming, with plenty of comfortable seating indoors and out. The drinks are consistently great, and they always have very interesting and creative seasonal drinks. The staff is very friendly and they really care about making good coffee. I could speak on how very beautiful this place is and how much thought is put into everything they serve, I could talk about the amazing atmosphere and the fresh new vibe it brings to downtown Monroe, or even the staff being so very friendly. BUT I really want to give credit to the amazing coffee! They are consistent! From coffees to matchas, even their seasonal menu. You can tell everything is well thought out, purposeful, and consistently perfect!!! I will drive 25 minutes just to get a cup of coffee because they are worth it! We moved here from Orlando in the spring, and this was the very first coffee shop we tried and it’s since become our go-to spot. After checking out the other options nearby, this one stands out as our favorite. The shop itself is charming, and the menu strikes the perfect balance: plenty of choices without being overwhelming. I especially enjoy their seasonal drinks, and the thoughtful touches in the space don’t go unnoticed (clean bathrooms, a stocked baby changing area, tidy tables, and well-maintained trash cans).
The staff is always warm and welcoming, wait times are reasonable, and the drinks are consistently great. Overall, a solid local option that we’re excited to keep supporting!
