I went here for Pratt Street Restaurant week. The tasting menu was awesome! Great appetizer choices, the chicken parm was delicious, and the cannolis were to die for. We also had the tiramisu which was rich and decadent. Definitely will be back!

Easily the best cesar salad I’ve ever had. It has definitely set the bar. The brussel sprouts were a close 2nd. The mai tai was strong and delicious. This restaurant does not skimp on anything. I’m looking forward to enjoying Sorella again in the near future.

We enjoyed our dinner overall the vibes are great, the drinks were amazing and strong. However the shrimp scampi tasted sour, and all my life I have been ordering shrimp scampi in different restaurants it’s not supposed to be sour! That was my only complaint, please rethink that recipe.

Arrived on a mid day Wednesday for some quick eats after the science museum. It was rainy, very slow. A handful of filled tables. Atmosphere was great – very clean/modern feel. We had craft cocktails: tart cherry- cucumber and the rosey posey – both incredible! the cocktails are worth a moment of silence to imbibe and soak in. Staff attending was very standard/average day shift – no real impression of any type positive or negative. The calamari was okay, good portion not much flavor the batter. The garlic aioli pairing was pretty tasty. We had the Johnny rose and a standard pepperoni for the kid. The pizza for me was a major let down, Flavors were good but the dough/crust of this Neapolitan pizza were very… doughy, no crunch, like Naan versus my preferred brick/wood oven crunch to the crust. Still somewhat charred. The Heavier cheese with the stretchy dough like base made for something less my enjoyed level of pizza. Over all not bad experience but I am not one for doughy/wonder bread soft crust. I would not recommend if someone inquired but I only had this single experience. 2 dads and their kid, 2 pizzas and app, sprite and 2 cocktails w/ tip about 110$.

We spontaneously decided to have dinner at Sorella and were truly impressed by the food and hospitality. Their wood-fired Margherita pizza was insanely good—so flavorful and fresh—and the pasta was just as incredible. This place is a total gem! 100% recommend!”

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch at Sorella, a very good local Italian restaurant. If you have not been here before, be sure to visit. A fun location, situated in a busy section of Hartford, adjacent to Pratt Street, which is filled with shops, and the area has plenty to do. The inside has nice ambiance and the patio seems like a fun spot for nicer weather.
We had some drinks, a Manhattan and a herb type gin drink. The chopped salad was delicious, and a meal on its own. The Brussel sprout appetizer was delicious too.
The meals were great. Shrimp Scampi, Rigatoni Bolognese, and Chicken Marsala. We took food home and ate every last bite.
Sadly, we skipped on dessert.

If you appreciate wood fired oven pizza, Sorella is your spot. Dined there with friends on a Tuesday night. Ordered the Wise Guy paired with a delicious full bodied red Italian wine. Capped off the night with a creamy cappuccino. Squisito!

After a last minute change of plans, my fiancée and I stopped in to Sorella for a birthday dinner celebration. Allison offered incredible service and went above and beyond in accommodating us from seating us to placing orders to checking in thoughtfully throughout the meal.
Speaking of—the food was fantastic! We absolutely recommend the DISH bread, the orecchiette, and the spicy vodka rose. Prices were good, and the ambiance was excellent. I suspect we’ll be back soon!
