Stopped by on a grey, drizzling morning right after landing in Portland. Owners were incredibly friendly and had helpful suggestions for what to order, and everything was delicious! Particularly loved the seasonal grilled corn they had that day

I’m ashamed of myself that it took me so long to visit here. Freakishly good sandwiches from an unassuming truck. It’s places like this that give Portland its reputation for amazing food. Incredible flavor combinations, perfectly proportioned. Literally would be a destination in any other city. One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a very, very, long time.

I’m all about the food cart life but a food cart that has fancy foods and real plates and forks, count me in.
My mom wanted to try the 5s5, I didn’t love it I was looking for something for deli style, but don’t get me wrong it was good. My mom loved it.
I also ordered the Zappa of the day which was a parsnip puree, it was super tasty.
I was sad they did t have pasta today, but the polenta ragu smelled and looked amazing as it passed by.
The salad was soo pretty, I would have done without the nori but it was definitely something different. A good different.
Very fresh.
Now the whipped citrus curd with rhubarb compost. 1000% yes
Don’t sleep on this place.
They even have parking and a covered patio.
Will come again

Got the salciccia and vegetariana sandwich both were excellent. Nice saucy sandwiches on fresh toasted bread that still has a bit of squish and chew to it. Pickled veg on the side is a perfect palate cleanser. All around would recommend. Plus the staff is super friendly

What a lovely spot with a covered outdoor seating area. We got porchetta sandwich, an eggplant sandwich, and the flank steak special. All were fresh, generously sized, and beautifully seasoned. Loved the fennel pollen touch on the flank steak. Also got a glass of yummy berry kombucha. Menu changes every two weeks, so you can always try something new. Options for GF, vegetarians, and vegans as well. See menu in picture.

The fresh baked focaccia is amazing! The sandwich selection is small but mighty. There is a vegan sandwich and a vegetarian option. There is a covered patio to eat in and they serve wine.

I’m not normally a sandwich person but I would come back in a heartbeat!! I got the 5×5 which came with some pickled veggies. The bread had a great texture and the flavors were savory and balanced 🙂 plus the staff very helpful and nice!

Best vegetarian sandwich, hands down. The bread is fluffy & lightly crispy, the ingredients are fresh, the flavor combinations are on point. Service is chill and friendly. The giardiniera (pickled veggies) are the perfect side, crisp and bright. Great place for lunch!
