I recently placed an order from here for delivery. The food was delivered with ease thanks to Uber Eats; however, the food quality was not satisfactory. For the price, I would expect at least edible food. I’m saddened to say that I had to discard the entire meal and became sick from the food.

First, the food smelled funny, like the ingredients used were old, stale, or reheated frozen items. Second, because it was costly for such a small portion, I decided to taste at least some of the items ordered. To my surprise, every item had an incredibly fishy or sour taste. (Mind you, I love sushi, but this was off, fishy smell and taste.) Third, I had a friend try it to see if I was reading into it. They didn’t even try anything because the odor was foul. Fourth, I became sick almost immediately. I have now started throwing up, and all items have been discarded.

Please be cautious or avoid ordering from
here. I’m currently in the process of reporting this incident to Uber Eats while also dealing with stomach pain from this.

Hopefully, I don’t end up in the ER.

The food is fresh and delicious. The orange chicken is perfectly crunchy and is seasoned very well. It had an extra touch of citrus that made it a stand out.

The Mexican miso soup was also perfection. I could eat that soup all day.

Along Chicago’s 2nd Magnificent Mile—famous for its many Mexican restaurants—there’s this little Sushi place tucked between buildings.

In my humble, uneducated opinion they serve the best sushi in Little Village. Partly cause they’re maybe the *only* ones selling sushi and partly cause it’s actually really good.

I checked it out with a friend one Tuesday evening when it was empty. An occasional customer would come in for pick up. The atmosphere was really chill with no one around except the staff, but I could see it being a relaxed space even at a busy hour.

My friend got the chicken soup and I ordered the Cali roll. Both were delicious. Definitely coming back another time.

Pepper steak is great. Sushi is decent. Their fried rice is absolutely atrocious. A frozen package of fried rice tastes better than what they serve.

I ordered $56 worth of food and as the photo states “Unfortunately due to a delivery issue we were unable to fulfill this order” and then they canceled and refunded the order. I called the restaurant and they were rude to me and said, “don’t order from here again we didn’t cancel the order and lost money.” Stating I canceled my own order. Why would I do that? They clearly don’t know how GrubHub works. You cannot cancel an order when the driver has already picked it up. “WE were unable to fulfill” means YOU guys cancelled it, otherwise I’d be fighting for a refund. I have ordered from here before and the food was excellent. It’s a shame that in addition to this photo I also got a text from GrubHub saying the delivery driver canceled the order. Someone stole my food for the holidays, is what I think.
