Sharing this in hopes the quality and consistency improve moving forward.

I have been a loyal Sopranos customer for many years. I really want to support our local restaurants, especially with the announcement of new ownership. So I’m sharing this as honest feedback along with all the others reviews posted recently.

I ordered the chicken carbonara this evening and was told several items were unavailable (no shrimp, no salad, no deserts, and they were also out of proper to-go containers). The order took longer than expected, placed order at 6:34, left at 7:21. Once I prepared my plate the sauce was extremely salty and chicken very peppery (asked for lite pepper) , the bread was very hard, and the dish included abnormal large chunks of ham, which isn’t typical for carbonara. I was also charged full price despite the substitutions and missing items.

When I brought this to the chefs attention his main excuse for all this was the restaurant was closed For 12 days and the main chef was Not there. If you’re only excuse is that then why open and half ass things, People work hard for their money and to serve this thinking it’s acceptable is a quick way to lose business. Finished dish feeling left with a Funky taste in my mouth, and unfortunately not sure when I will be back.

Its strange here. New management i guess. Very unfriendly staff and it took almost an hour to get dish number 1 out of 3. They didnt have my stuffed shells and no thousand island either. Salad looking meh. The bread has changed and so has the ranch. From homemade to bottled ranch. Not good.me. somebody else just left because they didnt have several things on the menu they provided. Grabs their keys and bounced. Grease just dripping off the hamburger stromboli. Just sad.

I have to say our first time here the food was amazing. Taste and quality was excellent. We will definitely be coming back. Our waitress Abigail Taylor was also very tentative and made sure we was satisfied and had everything we needed. So yall go check them out you want be disappointed.

I was there with my team of 13 and although it took a long time, the pasta that I got was the best I’ve ever had. I recommend that you have a smaller party there. Like I said the food was so good and was worth the wait. The portions are also really good. If you want more food go with the make your own pasta or get the calizone.

New management or something. Didn’t get ranch marinara or tiramisu. Called and they said they were out. Had to drive back and they had ranch. They put my 4 cups in a box without putting the lids on. I saw his buddy in the back laughing and when he saw me he walked away very fast. I guess he wanted me to make a mess. I won’t be giving these people anymore money. They don’t deserve it.

As soon as I saw the food I knew something was up and that the managment had changed hands. I ate here for 10 years and the food was always consistently good. The pizza I ordered last night was a straight up mess with way too much cheese. For half the price of what I paid here, I could have had two Pizzas from Dominos that weren’t a floppy undercooked mess trying to over compensate with a pound of Walmart cheese. I don’t want to have to complain like this, but I spent $40 on this order.

I really like Soprano’s. I went yesterday and I got 2 small steak & cheese stromboli’s and a spaghetti with meatballs dinner which comes with bread and salad. The food was really good & fresh as it always is. I think the price of all that food was like 32$ so that wasn’t bad at all.

This has been my new favorite restaurant, but they still have a few kinks to work out. When my guest and I arrived at the restaurant the first thing I noticed was the dirty tables that hadn’t been reset from the earlier customers. Other times I’ve dined here the tables have always been clean and ready for the next customer. I asked the wait staff to clear a table so I could sit at one with a bench seat. He gladly did that for us.

There was a young family in the restaurant and the large screen TV was on with a violent show and profanity. The youngest little boy was sitting in a chair watching the movie like he was in a movie theater. The serving staff eventually turned the volume down, but it was still as loud as if I were sitting in my living room. This same child got up and walked from table to table moving the lights that sit on them and touched the tables. The wait staff seemed at a loss as to what to do about it so he just watched him.

I got the salad that is served with my meal and noticed immediately that it was spring mix instead of iceberg lettuce. The other times I’ve had the meal it was iceberg lettuce. When my lasagna came out it was hot on the outside and edges, but the center was just warm. It was layered differently than in the past and one layer of the ground meat wasn’t combined with sauce. I knew immediately that Chef Robin wasn’t the one who prepared my meal. She’s particular and prepares the lasagna differently. As I was paying the bill, I told my waiter to tell Chef Robin that I was there. The waiter told me she wasn’t there that night. As I said, I knew she wasn’t there because it would have been a totally different experience if she was.

When I paid, the person at the register told me the total was one thing and I paid with cash. The change was completely wrong, so I stared at the change while I was waiting for the extra. It was obvious that the person couldn’t make change. I told him that he owed me more money and helped him do the math. He said he couldn’t give me the correct change because the restaurant was nearly completely out of coins. I told him that I wasn’t worried about the coins but I did want the correct change and told he that if he didn’t know how to do the math then he should use the calculator on his phone every. single. time. Better than that, don’t run the register.

I’m someone who really appreciates good food, and part of that is traveling to try different restaurants and cuisines.
Yesterday, I had one of the best culinary experiences ever at a little spot in North Carolina (Randleman) that’s now my Michelin-star restaurant—perfect for a date night! The owner and chef, with her amazing personality, makes Soprano the place where you can really enjoy every bite of this incredible meals from the appetizer to the dessert.

Food has gone completely downhill. We’ve got the same order from here for literally years, but this last time it was so different and not good at all. Our large pepperoni pizza was soo much smaller than usual, barely any sauce, and the crust was not the same. And they changed the chicken in the calzone to an overly grilled chicken so the whole thing tasted burnt and it was missing its normal ingredients. I know places have off days, so we politely called to ask why it was so different and the owner/ manger we talked to was so rude and was basically just gaslighting us like it has been that way for years, when our food was almost half the size and terrible. He instantly got defensive and tried to argue about how the food was perfect, so we just let it go. We won’t come back again and after the attitude we received we will make sure to spread the word on how bad it’s gotten. Hopefully they can do better in the future for other customers because we honestly feel robbed after spending what we spent on what we got.
