This was our first visit to Sophia’s and it was absolutely phenomenal. It’s a small, cozy BYOB spot with limited seating, which honestly makes it even better — intimate, relaxed, and not rushed. From the moment we sat down, the staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was outstanding fresh, flavorful, and made by a great chef. You can tell he takes pride in every dish he creates. According to the server, what sets them apart is that the menu constantly changes, so there’s always something new and exciting to try instead of the same options. So, with that in mind, and after drooling over the menu, I went with the Smash burger rigatoni, I have never seen that on any menu before, and let me tell you it was a “must” try. Between the atmosphere, service, and incredible food, Sophia’s is a hidden gem. If you’re looking for a great Italian style cuisine, Sophia’s should be next on your list. We will definitely be back. We worked with Chef Chris to design the perfect Labor Day weekend menu to send summer off with a bang. He was so kind, passionate, and even able to accommodate us last minute. The spread was incredible—fresh lobster rolls, clam chowder, clam cakes, and clams casino—all hot, ready to serve, and absolutely delicious. The lobster rolls especially were a huge hit with our family! And for food of this quality, the prices were incredibly reasonable. We couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend for your next catering event. Even if you don’t see it on the menu, ask—Chef Chris will make it happen, and you won’t regret it!

A small restaurant with great service and wonderful staff (Kim – who welcomed us like regulars that we were not and who made thoughtful suggestions!). The Caesar salad was not smothered and was nicely crisp. The Saltimbocca, I picked veal, was tender and delicately fried with mushrooms, prosciutto, wine, and provolone then severed over a bed of house-made pasta. Dessert was taken to go and it was delicious late snack!
You should note reservations are really recommended and the menu changes weekly but is on their website.
The only negative – it’s a seven hour drive to come back…

We’ve eat at Sophia’s many times since we moved to the area, have never had a bad experience. The staff is amazing and the food is always excellent. It’s BYOB but we can just bring a bottle of wine and they will take care of glasses and everything else.
We’ve been to the Sunday brunch a few times as well which is also great. We plan on trying the cooking classes there but haven’t had the chance yet

I take my Girlfriend here to enjoy dinner together . Sophie’s is our Favorite restaurant. Been here a couple of times and will definitely be coming back . The food is absolutely delicious. We’ve been to a few other Italian restaurants, Sophie’s is on top .

We have enjoyed spectacular restaurants and food around the world. My expectations were not high when I walked in the door….i was so wrong! From the moment server Jordyn welcomed me, I felt this place was something different. Superlative service! But then the food! A new menu every week, elegant and tasty renditions of standby Italian dishes. Very fair pricing. And BYOB! Felt like a family dinner with the neighborhood. Fantastico!

Absolutely love Sophia’s. We live half a mile away and have been meaning to stop in. We have a toddler with severe allergies so going out isn’t always the easiest. I communicated with the owner directly who was so quick to ease my mind and anxiety about bringing my son to dinner. He followed up with me the following day about a reservation and even told me the manager on staffs name as he wouldn’t be there himself. Upon arriving we were seated, and shortly after, greeted by Kim who was lovely. She made us feel right at home and made sure the kitchen knew of my son’s allergy. I got the truffle Mac and cheese with chicken and it was SO delicious. The portions were large, I can’t wait for my leftovers tomorrow. My boyfriend got the sirloin which was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was really nice and staff were all so welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be going back. Thanks to the owner Chris for making us feel extremely taken care of even when he wasn’t on shift, and being diligent in making sure his staff took care of us.

Dinner was absolutely delicious and well-priced, service was fantastic (Thanks Chad!) and the cherry on top was that this establishment is BYOB. Appreciate that they refresh their menus weekly. Our favourite dish was the Zuppa pink vodka. Veal and cod fish were good too. The free bread and dip they served were so tasty, we couldn’t stop eating them. We opted to top up to get their fresh pasta as sides, best decision. Loved the texture, had a good bite to it.
