The restaurant was nice. Real cut flowers in the vases. The staff was friendly. Our actually waitress was nothing near fantastic. Just and off experience being she was older. Could have been more welcoming yet was very dry. Food was ok. The nachos was just soggy from the salsa but okay. The crepes were decent but had a just odd aftertaste not horrible but not great either

I recently stopped at this diner during a road trip, and it exceeded my expectations. The parking was plentiful, and there was no wait time at all. It’s a charming family diner with a menu that offers exactly what you’d expect, but with delightful surprises.
Our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive.
We ordered omelets, crepes, and a buffalo burrito, all of which were delicious and generously portioned.
After our breakfast, we were full for the entire day. Highly recommend this diner for a hearty and enjoyable meal!

We love this place! We come here every year around our anniversary because we are normally near by. They have fantastic food! I have not had bad food her once yet. They get you seated everytime we have walked into the door. The food comes out fast and hot! I love there coffee here. It’s a very friendly happy atmosphere. 100% recommend this place if you happen to be in the area!!

This morning, I showed up for a simple solo breakfast just for a break in life.
Business was steady but not too busy/noisy or slow/decrepid. A nice family cozy atmosphere.
No wait for the table and very quick/attentive service from the staff.
I ordered the country breakfast which sat at 10.95 with on the menu with coffee (unlimited refill) st 3.25. Frankly, it was not an “OMG, this is a 1 of a kind” extraordinary dish but was delicious for price point and serving size. Served with 4-5 biscuits with a plentiful amount of gravy (which lent to a savory flavor) with 3 over easy eggs on top. Standard spices (not over or under salted or peppered).
The food with service and price point sits this diner as a great go-to for family and friends to get together at affordable prices with plenty of delicious comforting food. Its no surprise why this diner continues to stand in the center of Michigan City!
Shout out to Melissa who took on unique requests, attentive service and outstanding people skills.
Also overheard excellent work place conditions (flexible, communicative, and competitive).

What a delightful place! We were greeted as soon as we walked in by a very nice gentleman. He took us to our table and were served almost immediately after we sat down. We could tell that this is a locals favorite. The food was delicious! Service was top notch! We’ll definitely stop here in our travels again!!!
