I really wanted to like the food, but it was just alright. Everything was on the sweet side. The first dish was some beef bowl, super sweet and dry, dry meat. Drunken noodle was very spicy, they should let you choose the level and it was very, very sweet. The other dish wasn’t so bad, but it was also overly sweet.
Supposedly my Thai nanny said Thai people love sweet and spicy dishes. Even for her, she said it was too sweet and some of the dishes shouldn’t be sweet. To me, it’s always been if you don’t know how to cook… You tend to compensate it with either spicy or sweet,or both. Lotus of Siam is still the best spice balance Thai restaurant for us.
I gave a 3 stars for the service. The guy was very friendly and helpful. I would love to try their breakfast, as I saw a lot of great reviews for that.

I was happy when I found this Thai place in Brian Head but was disappointed with the food. First the drunken noodles are very spicy. Spice level #7 on a scale of 1-10. Normally Thai restaurants will adjust the spice level but not this place. When I asked why, the guy just said there is no way to change the spice level. When I got to the hotel the noodles were too spicy to eat. The curry pineapple fried rice was meh. The Panaeng curry had good taste and can adjust the spice level. That is what is weird, on some dishes the restaurant is able to adjust the spice level but NOT on the drunken noodles. The tarot fries were tasty with the sauce. Order at your own risk.

The food was good, we waited longer than we would have liked, but we really liked most of the food. We could hear two different kinds of music playing at the same time–Footloose in the kitchen and Led Zeppelin in the dining room. You have to go outside to use the restroom, but it wasn’t far.

My wife and I went here after a day of hiking at Cedar Breaks. The service was a little slow but there wasn’t many people working and we were not in a hurry so that was not an issue. My wife ordered her bowl with rice and I got a spicy one with noodles. They were both very delicious and you could tell that the food was fresh. Fresh food always takes a bit longer so I don’t mind waiting. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. For a resort town I was amazed at the price of the place, I was expecting to spend about double what we did. it is a smaller place so there is not a lot of seats available, but it is well worth the wait.

Pretty good but not 5 stars. The wait time for food is long and the food itself is just okay. Service is slow and neglectful. Still.. Its basicly the best food in the area though becuase the pizza joint is very mediocre. We were there around Christmas and the place is very cold and seating is extremely limited as there are only about 8 tables. I didnt see anyone who looked thai working there. Only Caucasian people. The hours are strange too as they serve (American) breakfast till 1130am, then close, then reopen @ 1230pm to 330pm then close till 430pm to 8pm.

We visited 2 nights ago. It happened to be a quiet night and we were seated right away, and our order was taken quickly. We had Pad Tai, Red Curry (chicken), and Coconut Chicken Soup. Everything was delicious, just the right nuances of spices (none of them too heavy) and the portions weren’t overly large. The heat, a medium, was just right. The cook, one of the owners, is Thai native, and is highly skilled. HIGHLY recommend giving Sook Jai a try.

We had the Crab Rangoon, Pad Thai with pork and Green Curry with chicken. It’s different than some standard Thai in a very good way. I love Thai and I know Cedar has some good options, but I think Sook Jai Thai has them beat. Pretty casual atmosphere in a sit down setting. We’ll be back!

The food and service were great, but it was right after a rainstorm on July 31 and it was 43F outside, all the doors and windows were open and everyone inside was freezing cold. I overheard 2 other tables talking about taking their food out to their cars which is exactly what we did when we got our food.
The food was fresh and tasty. I had a very unique Thai Burger where they’ve taken curry and basil leaves and mixed it into the burger itself. Pretty good and different!
Others in our party had the Pad Thai with tofu and Pad Thai with shrimp, and a Thai omelette dish that was very tasty.
Our only wish is that we were able to enjoy the food inside the restaurant, but it was too cold and uncomfortable.
Likely just a fluke, it’s probably not always like this. I imagine it was hot (75F?) earlier before the rainstorm.

My wife and I ate here after a day of skiing. There was only one guy working there doing everything. He did an outstanding of taking orders, clearing tables, and making all of the food. He even took care of to-go orders at the same time. There are lots of choices, spicy and not spicy. The food was awesome and we’ll definitely be back. If you find yourself in Parowan Utah, give it a try.
