Just had an incredible experience at Sonsie! Their secret menu chicken parm over spicy vodka pasta is unreal — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and indulgent. The cocktails and oysters are just as impressive, and the dessert finale, especially the chocolate bread pudding, is the perfect sweet ending.
The staff was attentive and friendly, making the whole meal feel extra special. Definitely a hidden gem in Back Bay — every bite feels like a local secret. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu!

We had avocado toast with added crab. It was good, but needed something fresh and bright. Maybe some lemon juice. The place was busy for brunch and a little more loud than I wanted to. Had a nice bolgierri rosso by the glass.

Friendly, attentive staff.
Lots of good looking and tasty sounding food, the warm crab dip was a delight to the taste buds.

Lovely brunch spot with a large menu and nice portion sizes. I liked how the avocado toast comes with an egg. Two criticisms: It’s pretty loud inside when it’s crowded making it a little hard to talk. The bathrooms are small, with on lock being broken and a poorly placed trash can so there is no easy way to wash hands and open the door with the paper towel or foot pull so everyone has to touch the trash can and handle.

Nice ambiance, but the food and service missed the mark for us. My salad came without dressing (we had to flag down the server to request dressing separately, which is disappointing when you’re paying good money for what’s supposed to be a “finished” dish). The server didn’t check in much. We also ordered steak & eggs which lacked seasoning, and the smoked salmon bagel was just okay. Hoping for a better experience next time.

Most disappointing is thst i started at the bar, but couldnt transfer the bill to my dinner table – i had to settle.

A few days ago we had the pleasure to take our dinner here.
It was a very nice restaurant and the food was so delicious. It’s not the typical daily food, it’s a fantastic, homage to enjoyment. All the flavors were perfectly balanced, and the BOSTON CLAM CHOWDER was the best I’ve ever had. Simply fantastic!
We will be back as soon as possible.

I loved the ambiance and our server was absolutely lovely! The food was okay, we got the Kung Pao Cauliflower which was way too salty and the flavor was a bit weird. Sonsie had a lot of Asian-fusion inspired dishes which was definitely a little unexpected but I thoroughly enjoyed the duck confit! My friend and I both got espresso martinis which were very good.

My friends and I went here for girls night on a Friday and had the best time. We had the pleasure of Thiago as a server who was a great time- he was so fun and personable and had us laughing all night. He made our night awesome!! He suggested great food and drink and we enjoyed every second at this restaurant. We will definitely be back!
