Located at The Village at Lake Las Vegas, 30 Via Brianza #100, Henderson, NV 89011 Sonrisa Grill is a Mexican Food Restaurant/Bar. Nice vibe, great drinks and tasty food. We were greeted at the door and asked how many and where we’d like to sit. We opted for the Bar but no seats were available so we chose the closest tall table for three and high stools near it. We were brought our menus and asked what we’d like to drink.
A spicy Jalapeño Margarita and a Mangonada. !
Drinks were prepared right away and they did not disappoint.
We opted to tonight since it was a bit late and we ordered the rolled chicken Taquitos and the Chicken flautas. They were both accompanied by a side of spicy green salsa and cream/sour cream drizzled on top (optional) and crumbled cheese.
The place was busy for a Monday evening yet there was plenty of room and no one needed to wait for seating.
We will definitely be coming back.

Guitarist was playing heartfelt acoustic guitar, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere on a beautiful Sunday evening!
Food was amazing! Plenty to share!
Jorge was a great waiter, they even sang Happy birthday for my wife and they let her wear a Mexican hat!

Finally got to try this place!
It was on a regular (somewhat quiet) week night.
I tried the Cucumber Vodkarita due to cucumber obsession and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Good balance of cucumber, vodka and whatever else in there
John took pride in making it… John also made the experience that much better – great service and humor. Thanks John!!!
The food was good too.

The staff is kind and professional.
The food tasted fine – regular Mexican food. But I would like to mention that the salsa is really good. That stood out.

This was a terrible dining experience. There were 3 of us, and it was not busy. We were seated right away, but waited 15 minutes before the server acknowledged us. There was at least another 15 minutes after ordering drinks before we received them, and one was just a soda. The hostess brought us our food, and she was professional and nice. However, the food was average, not authentic, and not worth the price. For 2 drinks and appetizers, it was $70, and took an hour and a half. I would not recommend eating here.

Terrible service, went for a nice lunch, sat out on the patio the lady took our orders and never came back for refills or to check on the hot hot sauce she forgot, had to track down our own silverware and napkins, she was around at nearby tables but couldn’t get her attention for anything. Food was a 50/50 Do not get fajitas I’ve never had a fajita that seemed like it was cooked in butter or grease no bueno. The wife got the birria egg rolls they were delicious but she got them as her meal but they were brought before everyone else cause they are an appetizer so she was almost done before everyone else’s food came, brother got the fried tacos and that was good also.

Was told the food here was good so ended quite disappointed. I had the combo #3 a taco, an enchilada and a chile relleno with rice and beans. That way I could try several dishes that had been recommended. The carbs Asada came to the table dry and chewy with a hint of spices but no moisture. The chile relleno came with too much sauce and cheese so the batter was already wet and limp. The pepper itself thin and small and difficult to cut with a knife. Beans were average. Rice was decent. Not one item was worth a second trip.

If you’re from San Diego, the quality of this food matches Old Town restaurants in San Diego!! We know SD has the best Mexican food! Great Atmosphere, beautiful views of lake Las Vegas on the patio dinning. Delicious food, large menus…friendly staff! Everything is delicious!! No other Mexican food restaurant in LV compares! From a native San Diegan, you won’t be disappointed!!
