By far the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had since I’ve been in Colorado. I am a Texan native and I literally felt as if I was back in San Antonio. Service was exceptional and the food was even better. I highly recommend this amazing restaurant to everyone!

Absolutely amazing! Sonora’s is the real deal—one stop for authentic Mexican food, a full grocery, and meat market. I had the birria tacos with rice, beans, and consommé and felt like I was back in Mexico. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and cooked to perfection.
The staff was friendly, the portions generous, and the whole place had such an authentic vibe. You can shop for groceries, grab fresh meats, and sit down for a delicious meal all in one stop.
Hands down my new favorite spot in Pueblo—can’t wait to come back!

Food is delicious, but I don’t know if it’s worth waiting over a half hour for then getting yelled and cussed at by the cashier for asking if my order was ready! I don’t understand do small businesses in Pueblo want the business or not?
Food may be the bomb…but when it comes to SERVICE they are dropping the BOMB!!!

This was close to a diamond in the rough. The food was excellent and the workers were extremely kind and helpful. We had an issue with a desert being out of stock and they were quick to offer something else for us. The seating is sufficient and they great for being seemingly understaffed. Our server was also helping people at the counter and still performed well. Overall I would highly recommend trying this Mexican restaurant!

Large marker with fresh, frozen, dried goods as well as meat counter. Kind of a tight chaotic space for ordering and its right by the front door so it was a little Chaotic. Hubs had the Carnitas Enchalada meal which he gave 4 stars. Kids had the chicken nuggets and quesadilla which they loved, I had the birria burrito which was really really good. The service was good. The people were friendly enough, not overly friendly but not at all rude, just reasonably friendly enough for the atmosphere. The market was fun to go through, got some specialty cheeses and rice pudding. Good food, adequate enough sitting area, fresh salsa bar which is cool to try new things. Overall everyone enjoyed, we all are excited to go back, and hubs even wants to take some of his coworkers. Nice little gem of a place.

I don’t eat out a lot because I usually find I can make food better at home. But these might be the best tacos I’ve had my entire life and I now found my favorite place. Great prices and friendly staff too. I’ll be back soon.
