Love this place. Always has great dinner specials. If none of those catch your eye you’re sure to love anything you get off the regular menu. All the steak selections are excellent.
At the bar you can get great snacks like sliders and fried pickles. The county’s best bartender, Jeanie will hook you up with the perfect cocktail before dinner or after a round of golf.
Sonoma is a local gem that you should definitely take advantage of. It is a longtime favorite of North Rockland locals and for good reason.

I gave this place 3 stars in spite of a disconcerting experience.
My great looking and tasting salad came with a live fly (protein??). They were very good and replaced the meal with another one of my choice. I had something cooked !!
I used to be a camper so I’ve seen worse than this, otherwise, I liked the restaurant and might have given it 4 stars. The presentation was good and the setting on the golf course is worth the visit. My wife’s food, onion soup followed by a turkey sandwich, was also quite good.
I am prepared to believe that this was an aberration BUT it shouldn’t happen in a professional kitchen. Clearly not enough attention being paid to the kitchen and individual cleansing of lettuce. I hope this post is seen by the chef, the manager and the local public health department, so that others can enjoy a better experience.
ALSO, NO-ONE FROM THE KITCHEN OR THE MANAGEMENT CAME TO APOLOGIZE. It was all on the local waiter and waitress !!!!

Sonoma grille is now Lynch’s. We were there for an anniversary celebration and the food was great. Best calamari I’ve had in memory, the Irish egg rolls are fantastic, and the entrees are varied and all well-done.

I ate here once and that was enough for me. I went over the summer with some friends just because I heard it had a nice view. Well, they were right about the view at least. The food left something to be desired though, I had a buffalo chicken wrap that wasn’t spicy and it was chilly when they brought it to the table. There were little flies all around the bar area, that was gross, and the bathrooms had water and paper all over the floor. What a sloppy place. I guess that’s what you get when you open a business around a golf course

The food is not what it use to be. They had a great chief. He is no longer there. If I could I would give them less then one start. The hostess is nasty and not what it use to be. Go to Linches in Stony Point instead. Better food and the same cost !
